Third person's POV

"She should know what kind of person I am. Also, she should know the reasons why I became the person I am today. Right, Akari?" Hyunjin smiled at her playfully

"Hyunjin" Akari whispered to make him stop

Akari felt nervous as she noticed how Hyunjin acted so rude in front of his family like he intentionally did that to annoy them or let them know that he doesn't want to be there at all.

Hyunjin ignored her and looked at Rina "Why are you still in contact with that girl? You know what she did to me. You know how much I suffered but here you are getting close to that girl"

"Hwang Hyunjin!" his Father shouted

"Hyunjin, what's wrong with you?" Inyeop asked as he wants to prevent anything that might happen

"And you, stop acting like we are fine. To be honest, I just want to be here and see you having fun with your fiancé" he smirked

"Hyunjin, what the hell?" Akari whispered and tapped him

Hyunjin didn't mind Akari and just stared at Inyeop and his fiancé like he wanted to annoy him as much as possible. A smirk formed on his lips as he kept tapping on the table in front of him.

"Are you still into Althea?" Inyeop asked

"Inyeop, are you really going to bring that up?" Althea whispered to him

"What? I just want to know. He kept acting like some crazy shit having tantrums over someone he can't get. You are that someone that he can't get. Here he is, acting like a jerk not even showing some respect to his girlfriend" Inyeop smirked and glanced at Hyunjin

"This is so messed up" Hyein whispered as she sighed

She knows what is the real thing between his half-brothers. Both Inyeop and Hyunjin fought over Althea. She is Inyeop's childhood friend who became close to Hyunjin and he started liking Althea but Althea likes Inyeop and the two ended up together. Hyunjin felt betrayed because Inyeop knows that Hyunjin likes Althea but he still made a move on her.

"Inyeop and Hyunjin. We are in front of the food" Rina said to prevent any fight between the two brothers

"You shouldn't talk when real family is talking" Hyunjin said

"Enough, Hwang Hyunjin!" his Father shouted and slammed the table

Hyein hurriedly stood up and walked away leaving them all dumb founded. Akari doesn't know what to do and was worried about Hyein. She bowed to excuse herself and left because she knows they needed some time to talk about the thing that is happening between them.

"Hyein!" Akari called and stopped her as they reached outside the house

Hyein started crying out of frustration "How can he act like a jerk in front of you all? What the hell is his problem? Can't he show some respect to everyone, especially to you? I'm sorry you have to witness such situation"

"Excuse me" Hyunjin said and hurriedly followed the two outside. As he reached outside, he saw Hyein crying "What's wrong with you?"

"No, what the fuck is wrong with you?! If you don't us to be there then say it! We will leave for you! Why do you have to disrespect Mom in front of me?! You are always doing that and I never said anything! I never talked about it! What the fuck do you want now?! Can't you at least respect Akari? I'm so tired of you acting like a jerk and disrespecting everyone as much as you want! Tell us if you want me and Mom to leave, we will" Hyein kept crying

Hyunjin was quiet as he understands what Hyein feels about what he did while Akari was standing there like she is not there. She is letting the two talk and at the same time she is trying to see if the situation will get more worse.

"I-I don't really understand what you want" Hyein's voice broke

Hyunjin looked down "I'm sorry"

"Sorry is easy to say but making someone feel that you are really sorry is hard" Hyein

Hyunjin sighed wiped her tears "I don't hate you or your Mom. Actually, I can kick you both out of the house but I never did. You both means a lot to me just like how my real Mom means to me. I just hate how she is letting Dad use her and make her feel like a trash. I want your Mom to know that she deserves better and she don't deserve such treatment from Dad. I know Dad will cheat on her anytime soon just like what he did to Mom. You and your Mom means a lot to me. I swear. I just want to protect you both. I'm sorry if I acted that way. I am really sorry..."

Hyein became quiet and just looked at the ground. She knows and felt that Hyunjin is sincere with what he told her. She knows Hyunjin is telling the truth about how they mean a lot to him.

"And I'm sorry for being an overprotective brother. I just don't want to see you being hurt and mistreated, because you don't deserve those" Hyunjin added

"Don't you trust me?" Hyein

"I do, I always do" Hyunjin sighed

"Then let me, not all guys were like him" Hyein

Hyunjin chuckled and hugged her "Fine. You really want to date Felix, don't you?"
