Third person's POV


"...because I love you a lot"


"I don't think it should end like this" she whispered

"Moon Aika!" her boss shouted

She sighed as she felt annoyed of her boss' voice again. She is doing her best to show him that she is working hard to be promoted but the dumb ass kept making her do all the work.

She stood up and entered his office "Yes?"

"When will the story come out? The readers are expecting for it sooner. Is it going to take longer or what?! Can you also give me the details of the character sooner?! You kept disappointing me!" he shouted

Aika tightened her hand into a fist and smiled "It'll end soon. I am just trying to revise some parts. You don't have to worry. I'll finish it later"

"Don't disappoint me" he glared at her

She gave him a smile once again and bowed. She left the office and rolled her eyes. She hates him the most. He is not the owner of company but he kept acting like one. Her eyes darted to a girl who is giggling at her reaction.

"What's with your face?" she asked Aika

She went to her and sighed "I am tired. I don't know about the ending. I don't know what my characters look like. I don't know anymore. I just want to jump off the bridge"

Elara laughed at her "Calm down. You should think about what ending will catch the readers' attention and will touch their heart? Also, about the character make it look like a guy who is hot- No. You should put the details of your ideal type. That's better and make you the female lead"

"Funny. She is too perfect, beautiful, smart, rich. We are completely different from each other. Besides, that monster will probably nag about me being the female lead" Aika pouted

"Let's grab some coffee first to lessen your stress" Elara suggested

They both left the company and went to the coffee shop they always go to. Both of them are working as an author of a famous publishing company that kept making the readers go crazy over the book they make.

"One ice Americano and Carmel Macchiato" Elara ordered and paid the cashier with her card "How's your apartment? Are you really going to be kicked out?"

"I don't know. I need to pay my bills sooner or else you will find me on the street" Aika

"Don't you think that's a good idea? To be kicked out of the apartment and end up in a dorm with a hot guy. Then, boom! You two will have the same story as your characters. You will know the ending you want. Can you just tell me your characters' names? Maybe I can help and based on it" Elara said and handed her the caramel macchiato

"Yeah right. Say what you want. I won't tell you. You should read it after" Aika rolled her eyes

They got out of the coffee shop. They are walking outside while drinking their coffees. Aika is the opposite girl of Akari and she is not as wealthy as she is. She is alone and her family never supported her dream as an author but she kept striving hard to prove them that she can be whoever she wants and enjoy life without getting bothered.

They entered the company and got in the elevator to go to their floor...

"Aika" Elara called and came up with an idea "Should we go and have some fun tonight? I mean we are in the right age to have boyfriends and think about marriage-"

"Ya! I need money not boyfriend. You can have fun but leave me alone. I have a lot of problem in life" Aika

"And it's not always good to always lock yourself with your problems. That's why you are getting stress. You are always thinking about your problem. You should have some fun too! We deserve it" Elara giggled and showed her the credit card "It's on me"

"I don't know. I'll think about it" Aika

"Yehey!" Elara shouted and hugged her out of excitement

As they got out of the elevator, they noticed their officemates became busy and was rushing to do things. Some were cleaning and some were arranging their own desk that made the two confused.

"What's wrong?" Elara asked

"The boss said that the owner will arrive!" one of their officemates said

"Today?! Suddenly!?" Elara shouted and rushed to her desk

"So what?" Aika whispered to herself

She is tired of those people who are above her. She went to her boss' office as she noticed it signaled her to come in. She bowed and watched him rushed to arrange his office.

"Can you put this in the conference room? I'll just finish cleaning" he said calmly and gave Aika the folders that will be used for meeting

She annoyingly left the office and still sipping on her caramel macchiato as she went to the conference room. She distributed the folders on the desk and was about to leave when the door opened-

"It's not ready yet-" she stopped as she noticed a guy in front of her that shocked her

"Where are they?" he asked her

"U-Uh... They are on their way here" she kept stuttering but she calmed herself and puller herself together "Are you a newbie?"

"Newbie? You don't know me?" he asked her as he showed no expression

"Do I have to know you? Not unless you are the owner-" Aika

"I am the owner of this company" he answered

"Y-You are? No way. Stop joking around, newbie. Who are you by the way?" Aika giggled and sipped on her drink

"I'm Hwang Hyunjin"

There, she spit her drink on his uniform.

It's him. Her ideal type. Akari's partner. Her male lead on her story. Her...



...annoying roommate.
