3. Zephyr

Zephyr is the youngest son of Aerrow and Piper, Pramesh and Aasira's brother, and the inventor of the Skyhawks. He has bright red short hair and blue eyes. He is seen wearing his father's outfit and rides his pet dire wolf Spirit, instead of a skimmer. Zephyr uses twin energy blades powered by green striker crystals. His catchphrase is "Spark Fly!"  He can also turn into a Fennec fox and a fiery Pegasus.

Zephyr is upbeat, friendly, loyal, and adventurous. He always wants to help his siblings and friends but often comes out as too nosy or annoying. He has an intelligent mind and can create things using nothing but scrap. He is very protective and loyal to his team and is mainly seen hanging out with Heron. In the middle of season 3, Webster loses his best friend Webster to Captain Scabulous and is devastated. As a result, Zephyr's personality darkens. Later in the season, Zephyr tries to kill Scabulous but is stopped by Aasira. In the season 3 finale, Kain attacks Aasira and Zephyr tries to save her. He is knocked unconscious, angering his pet dire wolf, Spirit who attacks and kills Kain. In season 4 finale, Zephyr admits to Levia that he killed Kain (the latter believing Ace had killed him out of revenge for killing his late older brother, Kai).  

Zephyr looks up to Aasira and is very loyal to her as seen in one episode when Aasira is stung by a scorpion, Zephyr is hesitant on leaving his sister to look for a cure. He also saves her from Kain, the nightcrawler in another episode. The kludd-like creature seemingly kills Zephyr by throwing him at a rock but the boy survives. 

Zephyr looks up to Pramesh as a mentor and tries to prove himself to his older siblings.

Cypher and Zephyr are the same age and have the closest bond.

Zephyr likes Thea and is shown to have a small crush on her. 

He is shown to care about Jonay as seen comforting her when Tinder, the phoenix dies.

Zephyr and Heron are good partners when it comes to inventing.

Zephyr is seen interacting with Kieran, Kaida, Rodion, Macey, the raptor girls, and their pets only on occasion.

Zephyr's copilot is Echo and they care about each other a lot, alongside his siblings and parents.

Zephyr used to hate the Talons and Raptors but became good friends with them when they turn good.

He loves the animal members, mostly Cinder.

Zephyr holds a grudge against the Murk Raiders due to Scabulous killing Webster, his best friend. In the season 3 finale, Zephyr fights and defeats Scabulous in a duel. He pins him to the ground and puts his foot on the raider's throat, intending on killing him. Aasira tries to persuade him to release Scabulous out of fear of her brother's sanity. After seeing the fear in his family and friends' eyes, Zephyr reluctantly complies.

Trivia: 

Zephyr is named after the wind zephyr.

Zephyr, Celeste, and Echo are the youngest members of the Skyhawks.

In the original version of the Skyhawks, Zephyr didn't exist. 

His original name was going to be Feather.

Zephyr inherits his blue eyes from his paternal grandmother, Ava.

Zephyr has had two near death experiences with Kain, once with the rock and another where he shielded his sister from the night crawler.

Zephyr is the first character to fake his death on the show, the others being Cypher, Silas, and Ace.

Zephyr inherits the Lightning Claw from his father.

Zephyr doesn't have the binding nor does he have perfect attunement with his siblings.

He's also the second character who attempted murder on another character; nearly choking Scabulous to death. The other being Jett who tried to burn Ravess, Snipe, and a few others alive. Harpy and Downpour don't count for they only pinned their victims down.
