66. Rome

Rome is a young cheerful hyena who joins the Skyhawks. He has beige-cream fur, light cream fur, dark gray eyes, dark brown spots and legs, beige spiky mane, dark gray ears and nose, dark brown muzzle and tail. 

Rome is a happy hyena who's only goal in life is to clear his species name. He is playful and musical. He also appears to be unlucky in love having lost several potential mates in his life either being the wrong species or too clingy. The first time the Skyhawks meet Rome is on Terra Saharr when he accidentally growls at Thea, Jonay, and Heron, scaring them off. He chases after them to apologize. However, the girls reach the others and tells them about the "scary Chupacabra", they encountered. When Rome reaches the group, the girls point him out as the Chupacabra and the raptoresses except Rosella immediately assume a defensive stance, scaring the hyena, but still stands his ground. Rosella points out that Rome was a hyena not a Chupacabra. Rome clears the confusion and introduces himself, stating he was a loner. A few hours later, the other teams arrive after receiving a distress call from Heron and spot Rome playing with their kids. However, they think he's a Chupacabra and tries to intimidate him. Thinking they're evil, Rome summons the courage to defend his new friends. His courage fails him when he spots Repton, Apello, and Ace and he runs away in terror and calls on his friends to do the same. The groups catch up to Rome, corner him, and explains he situation. After being rejected by his clan for befriending humans, Aasira lets Rome stay on the team.

Rome is on good terms with his teammates.

Rome's best friends from Shadow Stalk's clan are Cinder and Spark due to both coming from Terra Sandmark. He also likes Fyre and Thalia. 

His best friends on the Skyhawks is Aasira, Pramesh, Zephyr, and Celeste.

Rome was brave enough to stand up to Ravess, Snipe, the raptors, and the Storm Hawks but coward to Ace, Apello, and Repton.

Rome gets his name from the city of Rome, his favorite myth.

Rome appears to have feelings for Celeste making him the only animal character to have feelings for a human.

He is voiced and sung by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

He is the first character to have a signature song "My shot/Hamilton"
