Nine is a mngwa and Thea's animal companion. She is cheetah-like, tiger headed, long  prehensile tail, nose dark coffee in color. Nine's fur color is gray, white underbelly, adjacent to dark gray spots and stripes serves as camouflage in deep forest. Her claws are durable and scratches hardest rocks. Her eye color is hazel. Nine is gentle and friendly but fierce in protecting her friends. She is also fearless as seen yowling at Ravess and Snipe while standing guard by her master. she is saved from a cage that was drowning in a bog.

Trix is a raccoon-fox hybrid and Forrest's animal companion. He has gray fur, a stripe that runs from his forehead to his nose and white fur around his nose. He has a bushy, ringed tail and black paws with five toes. He also has blue-gray eyes. Trix is playful, curious, and shy at times. However, he is aggressive when danger is near. As a warning, he angrily chitters and barks. He's also keen on taking enemies that are twice his size. He is saved after he hurts his paw from falling from a tree.

Dira is a tiger fox and is shown to be related to Coldfront. Regardless, she is Ciaran's animal companion. Dira has red and white fur, green eyes, black legs, tipped ears and stripes on her muzzle, and two on her back. She is found tied to a rock and covered in mud and rescued. When Coldfront meets Dira, the two share a heartwarming reunion. Dira is a kind and protective friend.

Seven is a cat-lizard like creature of unknown origins and Kaida's animal companion. She has black fur, cream inner ears, dots on her waist, and gray eyes. Seven is playful, energetic, and brave. She was rescued when she is caught in a snare. Seven is shown to be mischievous and a trickster.  

Sniffy is golden niffler and Rodion's animal companion. He has golden brown fur, cream underbelly, black paws, and brown eyes. Unlike most of his kind, Sniffy is uninterested in shiny objects. He is a rare species of niffler that takes pride in their shiny coat (which he has no interest in either). Sniffy is kind and helpful with his super sense of smell. Sniffy is first seen with his head stuck in a mouse trap, after Rody hears a snapping sound and finds the creature struggling and possibly suffocating. Disgusted at the trap, Rody frees the poor thing and comforts it. 

Pine is a weasel-otter-like creature. He has light brown fur, white underbelly, and hazel eyes. He is adopted by Macey and Wildfire after they rescue him from being entangled in a thorn bush. He is highly wild and mischievous. He intimidates enemies by jumping up, flailing his arms, and screeching. If this doesn't work, he jumps up and down and glares at his enemies. He used this move when trying to scare away Ravess and Snipe but only succeeded in startling and confusing them.

Cacti is a peluda and Satkar and Cypher's animal companion. He has blue skin, white underbelly, green bush-like body, and bright yellow eyes. After the siblings frees him, Cacti stares at Satkar and Cypher. At first, the two frightened but Cacti shows no signs of interest in harming them. In fact, he is rather curious about the two. Soon he befriends them after Satkar sees Cacti playing with Cypher.
