Spark is a king cheetah who joins the Skyhawks after the death of his adopted mother. Spark has light brown fur, dark brown mane, spots, and tipped tail, and blue eyes. He wears goggles with blue lenses and a brown leather collar.

Spark is very kind to others and doesn't care much for insulting others even when they make him mad. Spark enjoys being around his friends and the Skyhawks. He is highly optimistic and is fast of his feet (both literally and figuratively). His main power is super speed and quick reactions. He explains that when he was a cub, he lived on Terra Sandmark with his little brother Spike. The Terra was invaded by Cyclonians who shot and killed Spike.

Spark has a close brotherly relationship with Fyre and is his scouting partner.

He has a close almost romantic relationship with Cinder.

Spark has a close bond with Jonay and Livia.

He has a distant relationship with Nite, seen glaring at him when he says something unjust.

Spark shows empathy for Ace for they both lost their brothers to death.

Spark is shown to be sympathetic towards Aasira when she thinks Zephyr was dead. He lovingly and sorrowfully nuzzles his head under her chin.

Trivia:

Spark's name refers to his lightning fast speed.

Spark claims he's the fastest land animal in the Atmos which he has proven countless times.

He can run just as fast if not faster then a skimmer but only for a short time.

In a series of flashbacks, Spark is seen running across the sands of sandmark. He then turns back and yells "Spike!" as a loud gunshot rings out. This is one of the darkest moments in the show.

Like his fellow animals, Spark's age is unknown but he appears and sounds to be in his twenties.

Spark and the other animals can age like humans.

He can roar, chirp, hiss, growl, snarl and even make distinct bird calls.

Spark has two scars under his right eye, how he got them is unknown.

Spark is implied to be pansexual.

He was originally going to be female.

Both Spark and Ace have lost their brothers to death.
