Downpour is a wolf deer hybrid creature. He has dark brown fur, gray chest, crooked gray horns, and red eyes. He has a large white mane on his neck. Downpour stands a foot taller than Kaida. He has enhanced strength and senses. His back legs are hooves while his front are wolf paws. He also wears a purple levitating crystal around his neck, enabling him to fly.
Despite his frightening appearance, Downpour is quite friendly. Regardless, he is still a dangerous predator and is labeled the most intimidating member of the Skyhawks. He will even use extreme measures to protect his friends.
Downpour adores Kaida and loves it when she scratches him under the chin.
He shows great respect for Aasira and Aerrow as shown when they tell him to get off of Ace when he pins him down. He cooperates with a frightened look at the Sky Knights.
Downpour and Ace got off to a bad start when Ace finds Kaida. The hybrid stands behind his master with his tail and body curled around her. When Ace steps too close with his sword still in sight, Downpour reacts immediately and leaps on him, thinking he was going to hurt his master.
Downpour has a close bond with Coldfront but she shows a slight fear of him as seen giving the hybrid a frightened look when he lunges at Ace. She also stops Kaida from interfering.
Baron has a close bond with Downpour but has a slight fear of him.
