Blaster is Aasira's pet aralez-dragon hybrid called a zburator and mount. She has black fur, lizard tail, and giant dragon wings, blue eyes, white head, and lightning bolt shaped markings on her body. She can breathe fog and spit lightning and fly. Unlike her male counterparts, Blaster doesn't have white horns on her head, making her a female zburator.

Blaster is rather snooty and mischievous but no less loyal and protective of those who help her. She enjoys setting up traps and playing tricks on foes. She is loyal to Aasira only due to the young Sky Knight rescuing her from being trapped in a snare.

We first meet Blaster after the Skyhawks evade cyclonian forces on Terra Xoam. They realize their skimmers don't work due to the crashes. While waiting for Heron and her brothers to fix them, the team goes exploring. Aasira stumbles upon a juvenile zubrator whos tail is trapped in a snare. After freeing the beast, Aasira realizes the creature can't fly with her tail injured. After a day on the Terra, Aasira bonds with the beast and calls it Blaster.

Blaster shows love and generosity towards Aasira and has a willingness to protect her. She has a motherly heart as seen when Aasira cries for Celeste, Blaster is seen turning her head towards her master and giving her a sympathetic look. She is even willing to defend her from danger with no concern for her own safety as shown saving her from Carver as a manticore.

Trivia:

Blaster is named after her swiftness and the ability to generate lightning.

She stomps on the ground as a warning to foes. If they don't listen, she shoots her lightning bolts at them.

Not only can she bark and growl like a wolf, she can also roar and snarl like a dragon.

Her character was inspired by Toothless from HTTYD universe.

Blaster's gender was debated before finally settling as a female.

Blaster can understand verbal commands and executes them on cue.

Next to Harpy, Blaster is one of the most intelligent mythical creatures in the show.

Unlike her fellow dragon-like beasts, Blaster has no problem eating eels.

Originally, Blaster was going to die for shock value but this went to Talion due to having a stronger bond with his master.
