Moonblink is a black fruit bat who joins the Skyhawks after her adopted mother dies. She has black fur and grayish blue eyes. She has a white spot on her chest and head.
Moonblink is an optimistic bat and loves bugs and other pesky insects as well as fruits. She is very friendly, compassionate, daring, and headstrong. Upon their first meeting, Heron was convinced Moonblink was a Valka Bat but due to her small size and friendly nature, she proves her wrong. Moonblink is particularly snarky but only behind other's backs.
Moonblink is well liked by her adopted siblings and squadron due to impeccable ability to tell stories.
Heron and Moonblink did not start off on the right foot when they met. Heron believed Moonblink was a valka bat, a creature her father had warned her of. The two eventually became friends.
Like Heron, Stork also was wary of Moonblink but was relieved to hear she was a regular fruit bat.
Moonblink has a slight crush on Deadwood and is very close to him.
Trivia:
Moonblink is named after her disability to not see well in bright light.
She can see exceptionally well at night but in daytime, her eye sight is fuzzy and requires shade or any sort of darkness covering her eyes to see well enough to fight or fly. She accomplishes this by folding ears down over her eyes.
Moonblink and Deadwood were born on Terra Amazonia, the home of the Skyhawks. What happened to her family is a mystery.
Like Aasira and Alaska, Moonblink has a talent for giving her enemies funny nicknames.
Moonblink prefers to out maneuver enemies or fly around them to make them dizzy rather than launching a full attack like the others.
