21. Ryder

Ryder is a Kludd and Rodion's pet. He has dark gray messy fur with a purplish tint, large black dragon wings, small white fangs, arrowhead tipped tail, green eyes, and a tuft of spiky head fur. He is immensely strong and can breathe blue fire.

Despite his fierce appearance and reputation, Ryder is friendly, playful, and somewhat of a dimwit. He is incredibly clumsy on land and air. He loves playing with Rodion and Macey. His favorite game being tag. Regardless, Ryder can be very hostile towards enemies but never has an interest to kill anyone.

Ryder adores his master and team and will protect him against the worst of evils.

Ryder loves Macey but glares and growls at her when she calls Rodion little.

Ryder has a brief hostile moment with Ravess and Snipe. When the siblings find their children alive, they are overjoyed but their celebration is cut short upon Wildfire and Ryder's arrival. The beast viciously places himself between his master and his mother, growling menacingly and wrapping his tail around Rodion. He creates a flaming line, separating the two parties. However, Ravess sees that Ryder was only protecting her son and manages to tame him. After this, the three become close friends but Snipe holds a great fear of Ryder.

Ryder is Wildfire's best friend and close companion.

Trivia:

Ryder's name is symbolic to his hesitance for anyone but his master riding him.

Ryder hates it when anyone but Rodion rides him for mysterious reasons.

Like his fellow mythical creatures, Ryder was adopted from a pet store as a pup. 

Ryder is the least intelligent of his fellow mythical creatures but can still understand his master.

Ryder's original design was that he had purple fur and red eyes with two tails.

Ryder is the only mythical creature who made no attempt to harm one of the talons or raptors, despite of course breathing blue fire near them (not at them).
