summers POV -

its been a crappy day having to sneak around my mother at home, keeping my word about only staying one day at Amara's house but I left out the part where I went home to my house afterwards.

but I got one thing today, my car back freshly finished and I couldn't be more happy about it!

I'm eating my lunch content talking to Alex and Amara where Alex has all these plans about being happy and living out peacefully but also dying soon idk I just kinda ignore him at some point.

but me and Amara throw food on him the whole time joking around and having fun until...

"hey guys! we've come to join you three!'", I hear a perky voice announced being joined by three other guys and one of them being Oliver.

just great, the one person I had planned on avoiding....

"so summer aren't you happy that I invited people for you to meet?"Alex questions, I hate that he has good motives and I am to much of an ass to want them Oliver really.

"I guess you could say something like that", I respond.

"so what classes are you involved in?", one ask.

"where you from?",another says.

"do you like sport", and now I become the talk of the group here.

but I try to not even look up more I just eat my food silently while Amara pokes me trying to get to me cheery up or talk more but I can't.

eventually everything starts to eat me up inside and its my moment to break so I rush away from the lunch courtyard thing I don't even care at this point I just needed to get away.

"summer! summer!", I can hear Oliver yelling after me but I don't stop I just keep walking away.

after some time of getting away from him I get to my car but I'm stopped by a large hand holding my door shut.

"Don't you fucking dare", I roar at him looking him square in the eyes with anger boiling.

"Summer please", he pleads.

"No!", I command.

"Summer I...", He tries but get cut off.

"No oliver! I'm done with your shit! Leave now", I demand ready for this conversation .

Feeling like a brick fell on me building a wall between the two of us and I can tell he feels it between us too because he tries to brake them down by placing a hand on my shoulder before i smack him upside the face.

"Don't. You. Dare. Touch. Me.", I yells at me darting him with the look of on my face.

"summer, listen to me", he repeats but I don't want to I've already been vulnerable with him and I can't do this anymore.

"Don't you see it", I snap at him.

"What? What could there possibly be that I don't see", I scolded.

"I for some reason I can't stay away from you Oliver, and it drives me crazy! your an ass, a horrible person! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!", I cries hitting him on the chest the whole time while he just allows it to happen.

and with that I think I left him speechless because he just stands there looking at me.

"yeah asshole now please let me go just this one time", I begged him but he doesn't move so I just walk away back into he school building ignoring everyone shouting my name as I walk away.

and now I'm gonna be the news of school 'girl who runs away from Oliver Novak the most beloved man here', get over yourselves people like so what I don't like one dude and it spreads like wildfire and I can hear all the girl gossiping about it, as I vomit in the bathroom after lunch not wanting to get to class so I skip. but the bright side is I don't have to be faced with him but he wont care.

I'm an asshole but I can't help it Oliver gets under my skin and I just don't know what todo. maybe I am what my mother thinks I am or maybe I'm worse I don't know but I do know that I wish I didn't have to car so much but I do.

I care even more what he thinks than I want to, because I'm starting to care about him.

I can't get attached to people but better yet people can't get attached to me because I'm gonna die young and no one needs to be around when I do!

thats a promise I want to keep.
