The two of you walked hand in hand into the store. Paul seemed just as excited as the day he took you into the camera store for all the equipment you would need for the darkroom. He pulled you to a stop, making you look confused as he walked over to the shopping carts, pulling one out of the holder.

"Before you say anything, I am just grabbing a cart in case we see some things we like. I don't want to walk around with my hands full of clothes wishing I would have gotten this damn thing." Paul stated, slapping the cart handle.

"Well, you are the one more with more experience in the children's department, so maybe you should lead the way. This place was overwhelming the first time I was in here." You replied as you shook your head, thinking of the two hours you spent looking for the gift.

"Wait, you've already been here and looked at stuff but got all nervous about coming in here now? Why?" He asked, stopping in front of you.

You sighed and looked away from him, trying to control the tears that were threatening to escape. You hadn't told him and didn't want to admit to yourself the fear you had of losing the baby. With everything good in your life going to shit within minutes, you didn't want to jinx something this special by celebrating too much or telling everyone just yet.

"Y/N talk to me, we promised no secrets, something is bothering you, it's all over your face." The singer said, wrapping an arm around you.

"I'm scared, okay? I never... things always seem to go to shit. If something happens with this baby, that could be the end of the only good and loving relationship I've ever had." You whispered as a stray tear fell down your cheek.

"Aww, baby, come here," Paul told you, holding out his arms to you.

You didn't wait for him to ask again and walked into the comforting embrace, feeling his muscular arms wrap around you tightly. The singer ran one hand softly up and down your back, and you took a shaky breath at the feeling of Paul's warm breath hitting the side of your neck. He leaned into your ear, still holding you close to his chest.

"Listen to me, and I'll keep telling you this even with my last breath. I am never leaving you again, and I'll love you no matter how crazy or how angry you make me. I'm going to protect you and this baby. You're going to continue to have this good relationship. We, little Evan and the little blimp will have an awesome life," He whispered.

"I love you too, Paul. I'm sorry for getting so emotional. I don't know where it's coming from," you said, pulling away.

"Oh, believe me, sweetheart, your emotions and cravings are gonna be all over the place." Paul chuckled and kissed your forehead.

Rolling your eyes at the singer and headed toward the clothing area, watching Paul head toward the little girl's stuff as you went the opposite direction, catching you off guard. You assumed the singer would automatically want another son, but seeing him looking at the little dresses and accessories changed your mind and melted your heart. You turned back around, shifting through the clothes, looking at the onesies and blankets. Amazed that someone could be so tiny, also wishing you had your dad or even your mom around to shop with.

"Y/N! Look!" Paul yelled

You turned around, finding him with a unicorn hat on with two strings, moving the ears back and forth. The top of the unicorn's horn lighting up every time he pulled one strap making the singer's grin grow wider each time. You put the outfit down and shook your head, walking over to Paul, trying hard to not laugh at the sight in front of you. Then, put your hands on your hips and tilting your head to the side, waiting for the man to take off the silly hat.
