Never in my life had I seen a target worth so much. This Clone, Crosshair, was worth over 10,000 credits for his crimes against the falling Republic. I didn't want the money, though. My only concern was assassinating him and giving my old government time to heal from the terrorist attack organized by the old Chancellor Palpatine. I never trusted him, but many did,

"(Y/N), you need to choose a target fast," my friend, a large green Twi'lek male named Sean commented, "Imperial soldiers are on their way."

"I got it, don't worry," I snapped back, sweat beginning to pool down my forehead. We were cutting it very close, and I had to grab Crosshair's information before the Stormtroopers found us. Wrapping my fingers around his information disk, I immediately sprinted out of the abandoned radio tower that we used as a base. There were many like us, and even despite us Vigilantes never having communications, we always found each other here,

"Dude, we gotta go!" Sean snapped, grabbing my arm and pulling me aggressively into the hallway that lead back to where our ship is, "They're literally right outside."

I smirked and pulled my arm away from him, "Chill. I got the information. We will discuss our next move the second we get out of here."

Sean smirked in response, "Gotcha, boss! Lead the way!"

I whipped my blaster out from my belt, my Twi'lek friend following my lead. Stormtroopers were already beginning to flood the little abandoned outpost we've called home for a while now, but per usual, we're always one step ahead of them,

"Flank them to the right, and I'll confront them up front!" I commanded to Sean, earning a little nod in understanding. This was our classic move against a battalion of angry, bloodthirsty troopers; I distract, and Sean snipes.

The Twi'lek did as I commanded, swivelling through some loose concrete wall, which would ultimately lead him to the right of the squad. I continued running as fast as my legs could take me; sweat inching down my face and into my eyes. To my surprise, the Stormtroopers had gotten smarter... I was intercepted as I was about to reach the exit,

"Shit shit," I whispered, pulling my blaster out and aiming it at the troopers. Specifically the one in charge.

The leader of the Stormtroopers pulled his own blaster out and immediately shot my weapon from my hand, "You're (Y/N) (L/N). I expected someone much more impressive for your reputation," the voice of the Commander commented, glaring daggers at me through his helmet.

"Should I know you?" I questioned, my hand burning intensely thanks to the blaster bolt, "Because I'm damn sure I don't."

"I think you do," the man responded, indicating the information chip in my hand, "You chose the wrong man to go after, Vigilante."

Crosshair. Shit, "You're wanted across the galaxy for more war crimes than I could even care to count," I rebutdtaled, gripping the information tightly, "I have no choice but to put you down."

Laughter erupted through the whole squad, which caused my skin to begin burning from embarrassment. Yes, this situation was bad. Would I kill Crosshair like I just said I would? Probably not this time, but I still have Sean watching out for me. But, he doesn't know Crosshair is our target,
