When the trio return, Clarke and Raven ask where they were. “We were surveying the area to see where we can access a high enough area so that Ash can make contact with the Ark,” Octavia lies and Bellamy and Ash nod in acceptance.

“Rae, do you think you’ll be alright for tomorrow? We need to get going as soon as possible,” Bellamy asks, looking at all of them.

“Yeah. I’m good to go now,” Raven says, smugly.

“Uh, no I don’t think so,” says Clarke. “You still need a little more rest for the pain to go away,” she concludes, giving Raven a serious expression.

“Aye, Aye, Capitan Clarkey!” Raven exclaims, raising her hand a little above her eyebrow, like in a military salute. Clarke just smiles and rolls her eyes at the alpha.

While the trio grab lunch, they notice some of the delinquents with thin pieces of wood and some string from old tents. They’re trying to make bows and arrows. Murphy and Atom along with some other betas, found some steel from scavenging around the area and have shaped them into arrowheads while others are making the bow and arrows. Ash notices and she decides to help. She calls Raven over and together, they sit beside Monty and Harper and volunteer to help. They spend the rest of the afternoon with them cutting and shaping until finally they have made about 10 bows and quite a handful of arrows.

Feeling proud of themselves, Harper comments grinning, “Now all we have to do is learn how to use them and then we can help Bellamy and Octavia hunt for food. Don’t get me wrong, I like fish and wild rabbit but I’d really like to taste a bird or maybe a boar or a moose!” she says excitedly while licking her lips at the thought of a bigger game.

Roma agrees and says, “Yeah! If we could help those guys, then we’d have more meat and not have to go out every so often.” The group agrees and hums in response.

When evening time comes around, the delinquents serve each other a plate of freshly grilled fish, some wild rabbit meat and a bunch of freshly picked raspberries that Jasper, Diggs and a few others found while coming back from fishing in the river Octavia first fished at. There are none more happy than Ash and Raven as they stuff their face with the different tastes of the food. Clarke, Octavia and Bellamy just look at them; amusement evident in their faces. After a filling meal, most of the delinquents head inside the dropship for the night except for O, Bell and the few that have the night shift. Before she goes inside the dropship to accommodate herself beside Clarke and Raven, Ash approaches both siblings. “Have fun guys and if push comes to shove, I’ll say that you two went hunting or something like that,” she tells them while hugging both of them. “Thanks, Ash,” Octavia tells her warmly.

When everything is silent, the siblings quietly make their way out of the campsite without being detected. They walk silently through the forest for about an hour until they come to a small clearing near a hill. They are surrounded on all sides by semi tall trees and small patches of bushes here and there. They each have a small knapsack with some clothes inside; a recommendation from their wolves. It is almost midnight, and at that time, the full moon will be at its zenith; the perfect condition for them to shift. Both Purebloods are standing in the small clearing beside each other as they wait for midnight.

“Relax and try to keep calm, puny human,” Talon remarks then slightly chuckles.

“I have a feeling you’re going to enjoy this aren’t you?” Bellamy asks him.

“Yes, I will,” is all Talon says.

“Tay-tay, this will hurt but I need you to be strong okay,” Sky tells O.

“Don’t scream like a little bitch! We’re Purebloods and we’re super special because our sire was a Pureblood!” she tells her human and O hears a growly giggle.
