Chapter 47: Surprise!

When the Alpha and his party arrived, the cart was stationed near the Alpha's home. Abby jumped out and grabbed Mar by the waist and helped her get down. The Purebred alpha then proceeded to place her backpack on her shoulders and grabbed her medical bag while Mar helped her with another backpack that she also brought along.

Upon seeing Abby and her medical bags, Lexa was a little bit mad. She didn't want Abby to give her a checkup because Lexa already suspected what was happening to her, however, she didn't want to think about it at the moment; to think of the possibility of being pregnant. Lexa knew that if indeed she was pregnant, her scent will change in the following weeks to a floral, powdery scent that will carry a little of Octavia's scent since the pup would be hers.

In the last weeks that they have been mates, Clarke has come to know Lexa's mannerism and her train of thought very well. She can feel the shift in Lexa's posture and by the slight pout that the omega has on her face, Clarke knows that Lexa isn't happy that Abby is here. Not that she doesn't like Abby, it's just that Lexa doesn't want to be checked out and that is raising a red flag in Clarke's mind. She wonders why Lexa is so adamant in having Abby, Nyko or any other healer examine her, so the blonde omega pretends to ignore Lexa's expression and heads towards Mar.

"Come on Mar, let's introduce you to the Luna," Clarke says and takes Mar's hand and walks towards Ava. "Luna, this is Maria, my mom's mate and Raven's mother," Clarke says and Ava gives the other omega a warm smile.

Ava extends her arm and Mar gently grasps it. "It's a pleasure to meet you Maria. Welcome to TonDC."

"Thank you Luna, you have a beautiful town," Mar says, complementing the design and aesthetics of the town.

O has also noticed Lexa's expression but just like Clarke, she pretends to not notice. She gets close to the future Luna and smiles. "Hey love, are you feeling any better?" the Pureblood asks and her omega nods.

"Yes, I took some tea and it helped with the tiredness and fatigue," Lexa answered and O nodded.

"That's good," the Pureblood notes, as she watches Bellamy head to his mates' home.

Maya then walks towards the Luna and says, "Luna, I'd like you to meet my mates." With her hand she motions to one of them and says, "This is Monty Green and the other omega is Jasper Jordan. They're from the Ark."

The Luna smiles but inside she's reeling at meeting two more omegas. She knew that Ark had many omegas but for her, it is always a pleasure meeting them. "Welcome to TonDC," she tells them warmly and they nod.

"Thank you, ma'am," Monty answers politely. They then bid the others goodbye as Maya leads them to the pack house so that her mates can meet her siblings and their mates.

"Good afternoon Luna," Abby says, shaking the Luna's arm.

"Good afternoon Dr. Griffin. It's a pleasure to have you and your mate visit us," the Luna says and Abby smiles.

"The pleasure is mine and as you can see, I came on a medical mission. Clarke told me about the elderly patient Glenda and I was hoping that she would allow me to check up on her. Clarke even told me about the time she found Glenda shaking and terrified that night the missiles were deployed," Abby says and the Luna nods.

Clarke gives Lexa a sideway glance and notices Lexa's little sigh of relief. "You're not off the hook yet, Luna," Clarke says in her head and gives Lexa a smile that the other omega returns.

"Would you accompany us please Luna?" Clarke asks and the omega responds, "Of course."

Clarke, Abby and Ava head towards the elderly beta's home while Octavia and Lexa stay with Mar and give her a tour of the TonDC.
