Chapter 61: Being A Leader

Two days later after their terrible ordeal, Troy handed Odi his pauna necklace. "Here bro, thought you'd like this back," the Pureblood said and Odi nodded enthusiastically.

"Thanks, I was hoping you'd find it." Odi put it around his neck and went to play; however, now, the children had two guards with them, following them around, ensuring that no one got too close to them.

Andi was in her stall with her sisters. Over the past two days, the alpha and her mates had gotten closer; physically closer and soon enough Lisa had asked her to live with them in their newly built home. "You and your sisters can live with us, there's room and," Lisa said in a husky voice, "If you'd allow it, I'd like to claim you and Wells. Andi, I'd like us to be mates."

This naturally took Andi by surprise, not because she didn't expect it but because she thought it was a little too soon and she hadn't told them of her secret. She needed to find time to tell them because the truth was, she wanted to be with them. The power, the pull of their 'mate call' was strong and everyday that passed, she found it more and more difficult to be away from them.

"I know - I know that we are taking things slow but in a few days, Wells will go into heat and hopefully I'll go into a rut and I'd - I'd like you to be with us," Lisa said, intertwining their fingers together.

"Lisa, I - there's something that I need to tell you and Wells, something that I hope won't make you change your minds about me," Andi said, bringing down her head to look at the ground.

"Okay, we can talk. Whatever it is, I'm sure it won't change the way we feel about you," Lisa said, tucking a strand of Andi's strawberry blonde hair behind her ears. The gesture alone made Andi rumble in her chest. "Wells is still at home. He's waiting for me so we can go to Arkadia. Why don't you and the girls come with me to the pack house so we can talk, hmmm?"

"But my things, I have to trade my items -"

"I'll ask my sister to take care of it. I'm sure one of her mates will do us the favour. Wait here, I'll go ask," Lisa said and left to go see Maya. Five minutes later, Jasper came walking with Lisa.

"Thanks Jasper," Andi said before following Lisa to the pack house. On their way, the twins saw Oli and Odi heading towards Troy's working place.

"Andi, can we go with Odi and Oli?" Sandy asked.

"Sand-" Andi began saying when Lisa took her hand.

"Sure thing," the Pureblood answered and her eyes glowed a little. "Troy will look after them and the twins have guards now, so it's okay."

Hesitantly, Andi nodded and watched as her little sisters ran towards the twins. The guards immediately formed a tighter circle around the children and together left towards Troy's place.

"See? No worries," Lisa told her mate and both headed towards the pack house where they found Wells, packing his backpack, ready to head to Arkadia.

"Love, Andi wants to speak with us," Lisa said and Wells placed his bag on the couch and nodded.

Sitting beside her mates, Andi became extremely nervous and so she began twirling her hands together. Wells immediately noticed and gently took her hand.

"Whatever you have to say, we're here, we're not going anywhere," Wells said encouragingly.

"What is it you want to tell us, gorgeous," Lisa said and gave her mate a smile.
