One week after telling Penn that she hoped everything remained good with the changes in their pack, Octavia was pacing up and down the Alpha's office huffing and puffing. She had yet to tell her mates what was happening.

"How could this turn up like this, Sky? I mean, all he was supposed to do was get his mate and come back. Now, he's in a fucking dungeon with the others and who knows what they're doing to them. I hope this doesn't bring back the bad memories from when they were locked up," O told her wolf and all she got in response was a growl.

After a minute she heard the wolf say, "I'm mad the others didn't allow us to go with them. I would've put the fucking Alpha out of commission. FUCK!"

***One Week Ago***

Noah was expecting Holly, her uncle and aunt with baby Layla this morning and so he and Chester got up early and got ready for the day. Around 8 a.m. they walked out to the market to greet the traders and wait for them; however, none of them were present. Instead, four people - two males and two females came and started getting the stall ready for the day.

Noah and Chester walked up to them and greeted them. "Good morning, but where is Mr. Daniels and his mate? Where's Holly?" Chester asked and the two females turned to look at him. One of them was a beta and the other an alpha. The alpha said, "Good morning. The Daniels aren't coming this week or the next. They're sick and couldn't make it, so we came instead. Would you like to try something?"

"No, no thanks," Chester said, politely. "It's just that we were expecting Holly, that's all."

A male beta approached and said, "My name is Anton and I'm a close friend of Holly's nontu. May I ask who you two are?"

Noah answered, "My name is Noah and this is my mate Chester. Holly is our other mate."

Anton squinted his eyes and a crease formed in between his eyes. He could feel an aura radiating from Noah. "Mates?" he asked but then shook his head. "Never mind," Anton muttered before leaving Noah and Chester standing.

The female beta got closer to them and said, "I'm sorry that you won't get to see your mate but she came down with something and our healer said that she needed to be on bed rest so that she can recuperate."

After a very awkward and frustrating encounter with these four individuals, Noah and Chester headed back home and had a silent breakfast. Both knew that something about that entire conversation didn't sound right.

"Grrr....grrr..." Coal growled over and over in Noah's head. "I don't like this. I feel like they're intentionally holding our beta from us," the wolf said and Noah nodded. "Me too, Coal, me too."

Chester on the other hand wasn't faring that much better. A part of him felt lonely and sad. He was glad he had Noah but still, after the weeks he spent with Holly, their love had grown and now he wants, he needs his beta.

By the end of the week, Chester wasn't that much better. He hadn't gone into withdrawal because he had Noah but still, Chester had begun to show signs of depression and that wasn't good for him. Omegas are social creatures and a depressed omega can develop physical complications. Noah had seen it and tried to help his omega but both were suffering and they needed their other mate so he decided enough was enough.

He went to the Daniels' stall and spoke with Anton. "Since tomorrow you all will return to your pack, Chester and I will be accompanying you. We need to see Holly and find out how she's doing."

"Fine," Anton replied as he watched Noah walking away. He couldn't help but remember what his Alpha Elliot told him.
