Words in bold are spoken in Trigedasleng.
That same night around their dining table, Lexa told her mates of what she talked about with her parents. At first, she was unsure if it was a good idea or not but her mates were nothing but supportive. Clarke and Octavia immediately liked the idea and had told her so. "Furthermore, it might take time but I think they would all accept. The Arkers know that falling under the Alpha and Luna's command, is not the same as the Elites who ruled by domination and submission. Trikru is different, we all care for one another, we all want to see the other thrive and that's beautiful and wonderful," Clarke said.
Octavia then added, "If we talk with my uncle and aunt and show them the benefits we all would have, I'm sure they would take it into consideration and so will the council. The members are different and we'll even talk with the rest of our family. I'm sure Monty, Jasper, Chester and the rest of the 100 will vouch for us. We were the first group to feel the difference in the way our pack treats their members."
With her mates' support, Lexa felt that change could actually be achieved. "But niron, hodnes, I think it's best we ask the Arkers first if they would be willing to accept. I don't want them to feel forced to accept but I don't see a reason why we couldn't make this happen.," Lexa said and her mates agreed. Looking at her omega, Lexa said, "If this were to happen you would become a Luna as well."
"Me? A Luna?" Clarke asked, confused and frowning. She has always thought that there was ever only one Luna and one Alpha.
"Yes, niron, you would be a Luna too. Our pack would multiply overnight and I wouldn't be able to do all the work. Besides, when I give birth, I won't be able to perform some of my duties, you would have to do them. Nomon already placed you in charge of our food pantry system because of your knowledge in healing," Lexa tells Clarke who slowly digested this new information. It would be an honour and privilege to be a Luna but then Clarke's face changed as she realized that that would mean a whole lot of responsibilities. She wanted to be a doctor, she wanted to finish her training and become a certified surgeon like her mother so Clarke told her mates of what she wanted to do.
"I don't see a problem, niron. If you want to finish your studies, then so be it. You can be a Luna and a healer. In fact, that would be a really great and wonderful opportunity for you," Lexa responded honestly and O nodded, agreeing with her warrior goddess.
"Yes babe and after you are a doctor, maybe we can open a clinic or something here in TonDC and so the strain wouldn't be solely on your mom and Dr. Jackson. You can do surgeries and whatnot here and if something is needed, the Ark isn't that far away," Octavia suggested and Clarke's face lit up.
"Yes! I would love that!" Clarke exclaims excitedly and then her eyes glinted with something else. "Rae said that she'd get a ride for me from the Mountain. If she did, then it would be easy to go back and forth from here to the Ark. That would be awesome!"
"Great idea babe! Maybe I could help as well. I can ask Rae to convert my bike to solar power and I can get medical supplies from the Ark and bring them here for you," O suggested and her mates nodded.
The triad continued talking and making plans for their pack's future long into the night until Lexa got hungry again. Since her pregnancy, she has noticed an increase in her appetite and especially craves spicy foods.
The following morning after breakfast, the triad walked into the Alpha's office, ready to work. As future Alpha of the pack, Octavia will now work closely with Titus as he teaches her how to become a pack leader. Clarke has a pile of paperwork already waiting for her and Lexa has meetings to attend with her mother.
