Chapter 5: Early Mornings

Usually, when people stay up all night, it feels like the night is years long. But not this night, this night felt like minutes.

As soon as the clock hit 8:00 am, Lee and Forest were coming in the door to the cafe. They ordered something and came to sit with me. I smiled, "Good morning Boys."

Forest grinned, "Good morning beautiful."

I felt myself blush, when Lee says, "how did you sleep?"

I shrugged and said, "I never went to bed."

Lee's mouth drops open and he looked at Forest for validation. Forest sighed, "It's true, she never came to bed."

Lee then changes the subject by asking, "What time does Jane get up?"

I smirk, "usually not until 11 or 12."

Forest looked surprised, "well, we have to leave before then." Lee says, "I'll go wake her up."

I smile, "okay."

When Lee left the cafe I looked at Forest and said in all seriousness, "If he isn't back in 15 minutes we go looking for him."

Forest laughed, "she can't be that bad."

I shudder at a memory of Jane throwing a shoe at me, I smirked and said, "okay...."
