Chapter 59

Dannys POV

I look at the test impatiently waiting for the sign to come on it.

When it finally appeared, I sighed in releif.

Negative.

I walk out of the bathroom to be met by a very impatient Jane.

"So?" She encourages.

"Negative." I breath, all of a sudden feeling sad.

"Good or bad?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know yet." I sigh.

"Well, I think you should talk to Forest about it. Maybe you guys should try." She says walking out the door.

I nod and follow her downstairs to our mates.
Forests POV

Lee walks over, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Forest?" He questions looking at me.

"Yes?" I answer.

"You're going to be an uncle." He smiles.

My mouth drops, "congratulations" I smile shaking his hand.

Danny and Jane walks down the stairs.

"Hey baby, did you hear the news?" I ask her nonchalantly.

She nods, "I'm going to be an Aunt!"

I nod in agreement, "and I'm going to be an uncle."

She nods and I pull her next to my side by her waist.

She whispers in my ear, "we need to talk when we get home."

I nod, showing I got the message.

I hope she isn't mad.

She mindlinked me, "I'm not mad,it's about something else."

Whewwww. That was close.

We spent 3 hours at Jane and Lee's before finally making our departure.

When we got in the car and started making our way back home, I hear the sweetest voice bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Do you like kids?" Danny asks me.

I raise an eyebrow, "Love them, why?"

"Ohh, uh, just making sure you'll be a good uncle?" She says but more as a question.

"Mhm." I hum unconvinced.

"Okay, so obviously you know that was a lie." She mutters.

"Just tell me honey." I say grabbing her hand and rubbing the back of it with my thumb.

"I took a pregnancy test at Janes.." She says trailing off.

Oh my god. I'm going to be a dad!

"And what did it say?"

"Negative." She sighs.

"Is that bad?" I ask glancing at her.

"I don't know. What do you think?" She asks looking at me.

"I think I would love to start a family with you." I smile.

She sighed in relief, "Good. Because I think I want too to." She smiles.

"Okay then, Baby Salvatore plan in action." I laugh pulling in our driveway to the pack house.

We walk upstairs to our room, where she disappears into the bathroom.

I hear the shower turn on.

"You're showering without me?" I pout through the mindlink.

She laughs, "come join me."

"Really??" I say, maybe a little to excited.

"Mhhm." She hums back, and I can almost see the sexy little smirk I know is on her lips.

I walk upstairs, stripping out of my clothes and heading for the bathroom

I walk around the to the door, slipping inside, and I can hear Danny humming as the water flows out of the shower head.

I open the shower curtain, slipping in behind her, my hands reaching her hips as tiny water droplets slide down her body.

My lips meet her neck as I work my way from the base up to her ear, "Baby Salvatore plan activated" I whisper in her ear.
