Chapter 45

You, Roxy, and Yui snuck around the castle, trying to get to the twin's room. They soon found it and rushed inside. You looked around and saw how huge it was.

"Wow. It's so pretty," you said.

"Thanks," Yui said. The girls sat on their bed and you sat next to Yui.

"So, tell me about your dad and how he relates to Xehanort," you said.

"Like we said before, he is Xehanort's nobody, but he doesn't have his name," Roxy said.

"What do you mean?"

"The Organization uses a x sigil for all of the members," Yui said.

"Even Roxy?"

"Nah, he would never do that. I was named that after a friend of my mom's," Roxy said.

"As I was saying, the sigil rearranges your name into your nobody name. Our father's name is different from Xehanort's," Yui said.

"How so?"

"Think about it." You tried your best to unscramble the words and soo figured out the puzzle.

"Ansem!" you said.

"Bingo!" Roxy said.

"But wasn't he defeated?"

"You're thinking of another Ansem. We're talking about Ansem the Wise," Yui said.

"I heard that he went crazy. Is that true?"

"We don't know. What we do know is how our father got his name."

"How did he?"

"It all started when Xehanort possessed a boy. Ansem and his apprentices found him and took him in. Pretty soon, he stole Ansem's name and soon turned into the Ansem that you and Sora defeated. And since Xehanort possessed the boy, our father is his nobody."

"So, what happens if Xemnas completes Kingdom Hearts?"

"We don't know. He said it's for the nobodies to become whole again but I don't believe it," Roxy said.

"But how does that relate to me?"

"You have the power to control time. If our father uses your powers, he could speed up the time. But if you freeze Kingdom Hearts in time, then we may have a chance at saving our father," Yui said.

"Tell me where to go and what to do."

Sora, Donald, and Goofy had just left the Pride Lands. A previous world had appeared on the map suddenly.

"Looky there! Twilight Town!" Chip said.

"Yep, I can see it! It's back again!" Dale said. Sora piloted the Gummi Ship back to Twilight Town and they entered the Tram Common. Vivi ran past them.

"H-Help! The sandlot! It's Seifer! Somebody please help us!" he said.

"Sound like we've got trouble!" Sora said. Donald and Goofy nodded and they ran to the Sandlot. Seifer, Fuu, and Rai were lying on the ground surrounded by Dusks. Seifer tried to get up but failed.

"We'll take it from here," Sora said. He and the trio fought off the Nobodies.

"Impressive," someone said. A cloaked figure stood beside the trio clapping with Yui standing next to him.

"By the way, have you seen a man named Axel? We expect he's here somewhere," Yui said.

"Like I care," Sora said as he readied his Keyblade.

"You see, Axel's no longer acting in our best interest," the man said.

"Is he with the Organization, too?" Goofy asked.

"Yes."

"You havin' a fight?" Donald asked.

"Not a very organized Organization..." Sora said. Yui got angry and shot at the trio's feet in warning.

"Don't let your guard down. Axel will stop at nothing to turn you into a Heartless," she said.

"Gee, thanks for looking out for us, miss. But where is (Y/N)?" Sora said.

"You're still searching for her? Well, we can't give you our location but she's doing fine. We're taking good care of her?"

"I have a hard time believing that!"

"Glad to hear it. Axel and (Y/N) aside, it would break our hearts to hear something happened to you," the man said.

"Hearts? You don't have any hearts!" Donald said.

"True, we don't have hearts. But Yui has one."

"HUH?!" the trio asked.

"Well, technically half a heart. You see, my sister and I are part Spirit and part Nobody," Yui said. The man took off his hood, revealing his long blue hair and an x-shaped scar on his face.

"But as a nobody, we remember what it was like. That's what makes us special," he said. A Dark Corridor appeared behind him and Yui.

"Whaddya mean?" Goofy asked.

"We know very well how to injure a heart. Sora, you just keep on fighting those Heartless," Yui said.

"Let's jump in after them!" Sora said to Donald.

"How come?" Donald asked.

"I'm not sure, but maybe they'll lead us to the Organization's world. Along with (Y/N)."

"Don't be reckless. Do you want to end up like Riku?" the man said.

"What!?" Sora shrieked.

"Ooh! Looks like you hit a sensitive spot, Uncle Saix. Let's leave before he might do something he will regret," Yui said. Saïx and Yui bowed out through the portal, which disappeared.

"Hey, wait! ...What did he mean, end up like Riku? And what did she mean by me doing something I might regret?" Sora said.

~Le Time Skip~

Sora and the trio returned to the ship and Sora sighed.

"The King, Riku, (Y/N)—and now I've lost Kairi again, too," he said.

"Don't be sad!" Donald said. "Donald's right, you know! Why, you're the key that connects everything!" Goofy said.

"So it's all MY fault," Sora said.

"Gawrsh, I didn't mean that. Just do what comes natural to ya and we're sure to find 'em."

"You said it!" Donald said.

"Thanks, guys," Sora said.

"Oh no! Hollow Bastion! It's all covered in darkness!" Chip said.

"You're right, Chipper! I wonder what's goin' on," Dale said.

"Sora! We better hurry and check it out right away!" The trio flew over to Hollow Bastion to see what was wrong.
