Chapter 46

Sora, Donald, and Goofy raced to catch up with the others but were stopped at the Castle Gate by Demyx, who hesitantly readied himself. He didn't seem sure how to react.

"Hey, you guys are looking lively," he said.

"Scram!" Donald said.

"Didn't we catch you messing around in the Underworld? How'd a wimp like you get into Organization XIII?" Sora asked. Demyx acted all scared like.

"I bet you can't even fight," Sora said, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, but we can!" Donald said.

"You shouldn't judge anyone by appearance," Demyx said as he wagged a finger. Sora, Donald, and Goofy readied their weapons. Demyx turned around, looking worried.

"I told them they were sending the wrong guy..." he said.

"Who is this kook?" Sora asked.

"Remember, the Organization's made up of Nobodies," Goofy said.

"Right—no hearts!"

"Don't forget that Yui and Roxy have half a heart because they're part Nobody!" Donald said. Demyx turned back around.

"Oh, we do too have hearts! Don't be mad..." he said.

"You can't trick us!" Donald said. Demyx turned around again and put on another face.

"Silence, traitor!" he said, pointing at Sora. A dome of water appeared around him. He stretched his hand up to the pinnacle and the dome turned into a bubble in his hand. The bubble exploded and formed his sitar. He grabbed it and spun it around, pointing at them with a smirk on his face.

"Dance, water! Dance!" he said. After a very wet battle, Demyx slumped to the ground (that sounded so wrong!)

"Aw... booed again," he said. His sitar disappeared and he was devastated. "No way!"  

He faded away in a wave of water.

"Anyone from the Organization who'd like to be next?" Sora asked.

"Hey, Sora! Don't antagonize them!" Donald said.

"Yeah, we gotta go help our friends out first," Goofy said.

"Oh. Sorry," Sora said.

"Then let's go!" Donald said.

You, Roxy, and Yui snuck around the castle, trying to find the balcony where Xemnas would look at Kingdom Hearts. The three of you heard footsteps and the twins quickly hid you. They looked over and saw Xemnas walking down the hall.

"Hey, dad! How's it going?" Roxy said with a smile. Xemnas stopped and looked at his daughters.

"Why are you looking like that?" he asked.

"What? Are we not allowed to smile and check in on our father?" Yui asked.

"You are. But you do know that I have no emotions."

"We do. But we still wanted to check on you," Roxy said.

"Hmm. Well, I am fine. Go do your missions. And keep an eye on that Spirit."

"You got it!" After Xemnas left, the girls released a breath they didn't know they were holding.

"Okay. Coast is clear," Yui whispered. You exited the hiding spot and quickly ran over to Kingdom Hearts.

"Wow! It's so pretty!" you said.

"Yeah. If only it wasn't used for evil," Roxy said. You pulled out your dagger and looked at it.

"So, what do I have to do?" you asked.

"Focus all of your power into freezing Kingdom Hearts," Yui said.

"It's as simple as that," Roxy said. You nodded and summoned Odile. You pointed your dagger at the moon and performed a time-freezing spell.

"Did it work?" you asked.

"I think so. There's only one way to find out," Yui said. You put your dagger away and looked at the twins.

"I hope you get your family back," you said.

"Heh, thanks. We should head back. We don't dad to find out about this," Roxy said. You nodded and headed back to the dungeon. Yui closed the door and locked it.

"We'll be back tomorrow. You should get some rest, you deserve it," she said.

"You should too. Good night," you said. The twins said good night back and headed off to their rooms, not knowing that they were being watched.
