Chapter 83

Matching the colored panels to the correct doorways, you and Sora made your way to the Twist of Isolation. Aqua landed back on her feet and blocked as Terranort swiped forward with his Keyblade. She struck at him, but he knocked the blade away, performing his own attack, forcing her to leap backward and away from him. She landed on one knee, looking up to see Terranort knock Ventus back next to her. Celina and Vanitas landed next to them.

"Aqua! Ven! Celina! Vanitas!" you and Sora said. They turned to see you and Sora enter.

"Hey, (Y/N)!" Celina said.

"Ready to take him down with us?" Vanitas asked.

"You know it," you winked.

"Well, that's better. I was hoping to have company," Terranort said.

"You will release my friend's heart!" Aqua said. Aqua bolted toward Terranort and struck him, a swirl of energy shining upwards and knocking him back.

"Perish!" he said. A fireball erupted from the blade, splitting into six homing fireballs, which hit their mark. You, Celina, and Sora rushed Terra-Xehanort while Aqua got back up, with the help from Ventus and Vanitas.

"Come on!" Terranort said. He exchanged blows with the three of you before teleporting away.

"Over here!" he said. He barreled through the three of you, ferociously slicing with his Keyblade, leaving a burst of darkness in his wake.

"Annoying!" he said. Without warning, Vanitas tore through the mirage, striking Terranort in retaliation.

"Let's go!" he said. Vanitas leaped into the air as a large mass of Keyblades swarmed over the battlefield. He landed on the flowing spiral of blades as Aqua and Terranort squared off.

"Dodge this!" Vanitas said. Vanitas sent a barrage of ice shards toward Terranort before barreling toward him. Terranort dodged away from the attack.

"You're nothing!" he said. Terranort pummeled Aqua with strike after strike, but with each, she dodged.

"Dark times ahead!" he said. The field erupted with swirling energy and Terranort's dark shadow emerged from behind him.

"Don't let them escape," he said. The Dark Figure slammed into the ground, knocking you, Celina, Sora, and Ventus off-balance, as the wind around you four started to blow. It spun faster around the arena, pulling you and the others into the center, struggling against the whipping air as numerous bolts of lightning struck around you all.

"Break them!" Terranort said. Unable to escape, the Dark Figure slashed at them with his claws. Aqua, Celina, and Ventus were sent flying into the lightning and the Dark Figure teleported above you, Vanitas, and Sora, slamming the three of you down into the ground. The Dark Figure phased into the ground, creating a pool of darkness as the three of you got back to your feet. Out of the ground emerge purple spiked before the Dark Figure shot back up, knocking Ventus and Vanitas off-kilter. Individually, you all attempted to distract Terranort while another moved in for a strike. From his Keyblade, he emitted dark projectiles which grew in number but were sent back toward him with a powerful Reflega spell, cast by you and Celina.

"What...? How?" he asked. Terranort's darkness was wrenched away from him, and he fell to the ground. You, Aqua, and Ventus dispelled your weapons, as does Sora, Celina, and Vanitas.

"Terra!" you, Aqua, and Ventus cried. The three of you ran past Sora, Celina, and Vanitas and knelt over him, pulling him up to a kneeled position.
