Warnings: I don't need to tell you anymore

"It's been over a year since the Master left. It's time for me to fulfill my true role," Aced said. On the rooftops of Daybreak Town, Aced, Keyblade drawn, struck at Invi from the air. Invi jumped off the building she was standing on and summoned her own Keyblade. Aced gave pursuit and their Keyblades clashed in mid-air. Invi performed a backflip and attempted to create distance by running across the side of a house, narrowly avoiding another of Aced's attacks. The two warriors clashed again and fell into the street below with a powerful crash. Aced fired a diagonal wave of energy at Invi. She narrowly avoided it and locked Keyblades with Aced again.
"Why do you get in my way?" Aced asked. He knocked Invi's Keyblade out of her hand and it fell behind him, embedding itself in the ground. Invi caught her breath.
"Don't be so conceited! I'm protecting the balance, just like the Master told us to!" she said. Five flower petals floated in the river behind Invi and were separated by the flowing water. "You need to come to your senses!"
Aced glared at her angrily and slowly walked toward her. Gula secretly watched from an alleyway.
"If we don't do something, light will expire and Spirits will take over the world! Then we won't be able to avoid the grim future that awaits. We need to defy the Master's teachings to protect the world!" Aced said.
"You're saying he was wrong!?" Invi asked.
"He's not here anymore. I won't let his prophecy come true. I won't let the world fall into darkness!" Aced fired an X-shaped wave of energy at Invi, much to Gula's surprise.
"You fool!" Invi said. She willed her Keyblade to return to her hand and used it to control the water from the river. The water enveloped the energy blast, causing it to disappear and momentarily obscuring Aced's vision. Invi used this opportunity to leap through the water and got behind Aced to land a strike. Aced raised his Keyblade just in time and blocked Invi's attack. The force of this clash sent Aced flying through the air. After landing on his feet, he plunged his Keyblade into the ground to halt his backward momentum. He slumped to the ground after stopping. Gula looked on and smirked. To Gula's left, a Chirithy was leading Ava to the scene of the battle. They looked around, and Gula tried to get her attention.
"Ava, over here!" he said. Ava saw him. Invi approached Aced, Keyblade drawn as Ava and Gula intervened.
"Invi, Aced! What's going on!?" Ava asked.
"I found out who the traitor is, regrettably," Invi said. Ava gasped.
"No, that's not true!" she said. She and Gula face Aced and Gula drew his Keyblade.
"Ava, there's no time to lose!" he said. Aced faced Gula and propped himself up to his feet. Ava, conflicted, summoned her own Keyblade. Aced raised his and took a stance.
"May my heart be my guiding key," he said. He rushed forward to attack the other foretellers and a battle raged.
Gula stood in an alley by himself, looking at a page torn from the Book of Prophecies.
Back in the past, the Master of Masters was reading from the Book of Prophecies in his room and Gula entered.
"Mhm... Ah..." the Master said.
"Master," Gula bowed but the Master ignored him. Confused, Gula peeked past the Master's head. "Um...Master?"
"Oh, I see," the Master said, still ignoring him.
"If you're busy, I can always come back later."
"Sure. Oh! No, no no, stay!" the Master said as he flipped through the Book. "Now where– Ah, here it is!"
After reaching his desired page, he tore it out of the Book. He stood up and handed it to Gula, who took it.
"What's this?" he asked.
"Go on, read it." Gula read the page and gasped.
"This is from the Book of Prophecies. But–" he said.
"Yup. It's a page that's not in any of your Books."
"And what's written here is..."
"Your role. You must find the traitor hidden among you, and stop them before it's too late. And in order to help you find the traitor–"
"I get it. That's why you gave us all different roles, isn't it? If anyone deviates from the job they were given, we can easily conclude that they are the traitor. It's brilliant," Gula pondered.
"Way to steal my thunder, show-off!"
"Huh?" The Master spoke in a pouty, followed by an animated, fashion, making exaggerated gestures.
"It's not fair. My plan was supposed to blow your mind with its grandeur. Your jaw should've hit the floor at my sheer genius!" he said.
"I'm...sorry? But was my logic flawed?"
"No, you're right. So, I guess now you've earned your time in the limelight." The Master slumped into his chair and spoke in a serious monotone. "Even though there is a traitor, act normal and keep focused. Trust no one but yourself."
Gula gasped and steeled himself, clutching the torn page tightly. That page held a dark secret. The truth about Spirits. About what the Master plans to do you and your friends.
