In the Daybreak Town clock tower, the Master of Masters met with his apprentice, Luxu, both cloaked in the same black garb. Amidst several bubbling beakers, the Master read from the Book of Prophecies, tapping the pages as if lost in thought. Luxu waited for a response.
"So that makes you the indispensable number seven," the MoM said.
"Huh," Luxu replied.
"Come on! It's simple. You six plus me is seven." The Master gasped. "Wait. Don't tell me I don't count!"
"No... Uh, um..." The Master closed his book, set it on his desk, and stood up. He held out his hand and summoned his Keyblade, which had a glowing blue eye embedded in the blade. He proceeded to offer it to Luxu.
"Here, take it," the Master said. Luxu nodded and took the Keyblade. "Now then, let's discuss my plan."
"Plan?" Luxu asked.
"Yep, my plan to kill Ira's daughter."
"You're planning to what?!" Luxu exclaimed.
"Keep your voice down! I don't want the others to hear," MoM said.
"Okay but why?"
"Because that daughter of Ira's has the power of not only a keyblade but also a spirit."
"A spirit? What do you mean?"
"She can control time and can live forever. But that power has way too much light and I need to exterminate it."
"But she's Ira's daughter. He's already lost her mother. He doesn't need to lose his daughter as well."
"Yes, but that daughter of his is dangerous. She needs to be killed."
"Alright, fine. But why did you tell me?"
"Because I have a very special mission that involves her. Follow me." The Master proceeded to tell Luxu his mission.
In the Master's playful and mischievous way, he gave his apprentice Luxu a very important role. What seemed like a simple task was the element that would connect all of the events to come. Long, long ago, all the worlds were still one. One day, this would be called the age of fairy tales. It all began here in Daybreak Town. The Master of Masters had an eye that gazes into the future.
The Master of Masters stood outside, in front of the swinging pendulum of the clock tower, overlooking Daybreak Town.
He bestowed upon five of his six apprentices a copy of the Book of Prophecies, in which was written the events to come.
