Chapter 2

It was a calm night in Daybreak Town and everyone was sleeping soundly. Well, almost everyone. The MoM was walking along the halls of the castle and heading towards your nursery. He walked in and observed you. He could feel the power that you had radiating off of you.

"Don't worry, little one. Your days of torture will be over soon," he said. He walked out of your room, headed towards the secret entrance, and waited for the person to arrive. He waited and waited but they never showed up.

"Grr, where the hell are they?" he growled. He walked out of the castle and went to go find them. He searched and searched and soon arrived at their house. He tried to open the door but it was locked.

"Clever kid. But I'm much more clever," he said. He summoned a dark corridor and walked through it. He entered the person's room and woke them up.

"Ahh! How did you get into my room?!" they asked.

"That's not important. Where the hell were you? You were supposed to meet me at the castle," he said.

"I don't want to do it. I don't want to be a murderer. If you want her dead so bad then you do it!"

"Fine then. If you're so against my instruction, then I will do it." He walked over to their desk and picked up the knife. He unsheathed it and walked over to the person.

"W-what are you doing?" they asked.

"Showing you what happens when you disobey me," he said. He raised the knife and killed the person.

You woke up crying in the middle of the night. Ira groaned as he got up. He put on his mask and walked out of his room but was stopped by the others.

"Relax. We got this. You go rest," Aced said.

"Thanks, guys. I owe you one," Ira said.

"No problem. See you in the morning," Gula yawned. Ira smiled and went back into his room while the others put you back to sleep. It took a while but pretty soon, you were fast asleep in your bassinet.

"Remind me to never have kids," Aced groaned.

"Agreed. I don't know how Ira does it," Luxu said.

"Let's not discuss this right now. We need to get back to sleep," Invi said. 

"Yeah. Goodnight, guys," Gula said.

"Night." Everyone walked into their rooms and went to sleep.

"Dammit! Now I gotta find someone else to it. I don't want to do it and besides the book said that a person with a black heart must kill the Unicornis daughter," MoM said as he paced around the now bloody room.

"Grr, it's gonna be so difficult to find someone. Pretty much everyone is filled with light," he said. He looked at the knife and threw it at a wall.

"That gullible Ira. Falling in love with someone who was not in a union and having a baby. Eh, can't blame him really. I did see it coming kind of," he said. He soon came up with an idea and smirked.

"What if I make the war come quicker and have her as the prize for whoever wins the war? Oh, this is gonna be good!" he said. He went to his secret hiding place and got started on his plan. This plan of his was going to change the whole world. Forever.
