The world is your oyster
I like the saying; The world is my oyster and I am the pearl. Well, it has really nothing to do with writing Chicklit but in my world, there is.
The way I see the outside the comfort of my home is a different world. Each person I see walking on the street is a novel on its own. I can write a story about a certain person, her experiences, trials, ups and downs, and victories.
Every person I meet is a potential character based on them. Every tree I see in the park gives a whole lot of words to describe how the settings, location, and what the characters are seeing in the story.
We may not be the pearl inside that oyster but the world out there gives us a lot of ideas, different ideas.
Inspiration doesn't come and visit too often, don't wait for it, that's why don't be afraid to go out and see the world. Make it your oyster of choices and ideas. I don't know if I am making sense to you but in my head, it does.
Thank you so much for following my Chick Lit Tricks and Tips. This is Ms. J, your ChickLit Admin. Until again.
