Admin's Introduction

Hi, I am Ms. J, your Chick Lit tips and tricks admin. I took on the Admin title for Chick Lit to explore a wider arena. Like you, I will be learning new tips and tricks as I research a few of them and sharing them with you here. Hope I could help.

Here are a few things about me.

A few more naps on my rocking chair I will be a golden girl. Does age really matter? No. :) All that matters is I am young at heart. 

As a stay home mom, grandma and everything else, my life's daily activities revolve around crazy grandboys and a son, driving them to and from school, Wattpad, Instagram IG Live, Messenger, Fan Club Admin, and tending to my plants. Yes, I'm a certified plantita.

I have two very energetic four-legged babies, a 2-year old German Shepherd named Nova and a 3-year old Labrador/Rottweiler mix named Bonnie, they go wherever I go. They sometimes join me in our IG Live session every night. How cool is that?

I love all the characters I create or created in my stories. As a woman, I already know how we feel, think, and act. What I like most is giving voice to my male characters. I love to explore their emotions and thoughts. I like to see how a knight in distress be like when he meets the damsel in shining armor-type situations.

I love to observe men in real life, their actions, quirks, expressions, attitudes, their behavior in certain situations, and/or reactions to any circumstances. Anything and everything that would give me a whole picture of how to be a man for a little while but of course, I still love being a woman.

I am, what my children call psycho. Why? Simple. Kahit habang galit daw kasi ako, nakukuha ko pang bumato ng puns and jokes with a very serious face. Most of the time, if not all the time, my children don't know how to respond to it or give reactions to it. 

I'm a spoiled wife, and I know it. I just ignore it most of the time and pretend that I am not. :)

There are not many achievements on my part, just that I had entered a few of my stories on Wattys book contest, which I did not place at all. Hahaha. But it's okay, it did not weaken my heart and lose my appetite to write. It only heightened my desire to better myself.
