it feels wierd to see you smile every day
something in my heart wonders
are you really okay?
I wouldn't dare open my mouth
afraid I'll say something to make you upset
but someone who meant so much...
is it that easy to forget?
That poor girl who had to do things on her own
who searched for someone to hold her
but found no one when she was afraid
is that why you were so scared when you got older?
Did you cry a lot before?
Does it still hurt you now?
I wonder why you smile
and how?
Sometimes I wish I wasn't so harsh on you
is there anything I can do?
I'm afraid to ask but
is it now me who is like a mother to you?
I want only one thing of you
smile, just smile
if you still need me
I'll stay a little while
I seem to forget
you're so much stronger
but if you need me now
I'll stay a little while longer
