The sky is a different color then it was yesterday
isn't it?
The day you came into my life
the stars siesed to fade
but you would not look up
and there was no way to persuade
Looking down
you shed your tears
keeping to yourself
all your deepest fears
But as they all turned away
you looked up for a second and I
was the first to see the tears
all along you cry
You stare at the stars in the last moment
to see them fade into night
and there it was
twilight
Suddenly they all disappear
every one but you and I
is gone when we both look to
the sky
I will never see things like before
I will never let you cry
it won't happen anymore
I will catch you so try to fly
And as the sun breaks through
you step into the warming light
we say goodbye to what was
twilight
I will never see the sky like before
I will never let you cry
no, not anymore
not when it's you and I
So stretch your hand out
try to reach the sky
if you reach too high
I know you won't cry
