Don't let me smile for you
because in the end, it hurts
and you know it's true
Sometimes it hurts my heart
but to see you is too good
Sometimes I want to look away
and I know that I should
Because it's hopeless
my little dream is hopeless
although I rarely dream
I know I shouldn't go after this
They said I should go after you
telling me that I should fight
but giving up now is for the best
I'm almost definite they aren't right
Please don't let me smile
Please just rip my heart in two
Please I know there's no hope
so don't let me love you
And since I don't dream often
I should go after this
but I don't stand a chance
and I'm sure it's hopeless
