The 275th Hunger Games

~The Games-Day Two~

Jonah Bellamai - District One

My alliance and I settled down by the big hill. We climbed to the top and set up our things there. From here we have a good view of the whole arena.

My alliance is with Calvin, Maverick, and Oliver. Calvin is from my district and Maverick and Oliver are from District Two.

From the Cornucopia we didn't get much, only one bag and a few weapons. It's better than nothing though. The bag contains a loaf of bread, some greens, a first aid kit, fishing gear, a wire, and two sleeping bags. The weapons are two throwing knives and a bow and arrow. Calvin can use a bow and arrow and both Oliver and I can fish. Although we haven't seen any animals yet Calvin is going to try to hunt. I think there might be fish in the river so we can get some. Right now we decide just to stay on the hill.

"There was five deaths last night right?" Asks Oliver. "Yeah, so that makes nineteen people left," Calvin replies. "This arena really is dirty." Maverick laughs as he stands up and there's dirt all over the back of his pants. We laugh too.

"Guys, I think there is a group down by the trees and river," Oliver tells us. We crowd around him and he points to the river, where someone is filling up bottles. I look closer.

"Wait, I think that's Finn," I say. We move a little bit closer. "Yeah that's Finn," agrees Calvin. Finn grabs the water bottles, walks into the forest, and disappears. "So we know Finn is in the forest. But we don't know if he's with anyone," Maverick says. "We should watch to see if anyone else comes out," I suggest. We all take turns taking watch throughout the day. Maverick is the one doing it when he yells out. We all rush over to him.

"It's Ashton and Jordan!" He says. We watch as Ashton and Jordan get some more water from the river. Finn comes out of the forest and fills up his own bottle as well. Then the three of them walk back into the forest. "Well we've got one alliance figured out," says Calvin with a grin.

"Did anyone see anyone other alliances during training?" I ask. "I mean I saw Dylan and Marcus doing it together but then Marcus blew up at Jordan and then I saw Dylan with Tucker," Maverick says. "I feel like Marcus wouldn't be with anybody. He's so annoying and cocky, I don't know how anyone could stand him," Oliver says. "Yeah that would make sense," I agree.

We have half the loaf of bread and some greens for supper. We soon go to sleep after that. Tonight there are no deaths in the sky.
