North Cameron - District Nine

There are fourteen people left including me: Sky, Jacklyn, Cove, Holly, me, Calvin, Trevor, Marcus, Jordan, Brooklyn, Griffin, West, Tate, and William. That means eleven people dead.

My alliance is Cove and Tate. Cove and I found each other on the first day, and then Tate came along and asked if be could be in our alliance and we said yes.

We're on the summer side, a place in the forest with tropical fruit trees and tropical flowers surrounding us. "What fruit do you guys want?" Tate asks. "Grapefruit," Cove and I say in sync. "OK." Tate gets down three grapefruits from the tree and hands them out.

"Mm, this is good," Cove says and she bites into hers. "Yeah," I agree. "So do we know any more alliances beside the big one?" Asks Tate. The "big one" is Holly, Sky, Jordan, Calvin, and William. They're the biggest alliance yet.

"Well we think Griffin and Trevor are together," Cove says. Yesterday, there was a commotion going on on the beach, so we stepped out to see. It was Holly, Sky, Jordan, Calvin, and William fighting Trevor, Hudson, Griffin, and Noa. We watched as they fought and how Noa and Hudson died.
Then Griffin and Trevor went back in the forest together, but we don't know if they're still allies.

"I'm going to fish, anyone want to come?" Asks Tate as he gets up. "I'll come," I offer and he smiles. "Be careful. I'll take watch here," Cove says. We get out the supplies and head down to the river. We sit down beside each other.

"Want to go first?" Tate questions. "Sure, thanks," I say. I throw my rod in the water and I soon take it out and there's a big fish dangling on the end. "Hey good job!" Exclaims Tate. "Thanks!" I smile. I hand my rod to Tate, but as I'm doing so I accidentally knock my water bottle into the river. I hop in to get it. I get my bottle and then I see a turtle swimming by. "Aw look at the cute turtle," I say. As it swims towards me though, it comes up and bites my hand.

"Ouch!" I exclaim. "North you okay?" Tate asks worriedly. "Yeah I'm fine. Well actually no it really hurts," I tell him. Tate helps me back up and then I start crying because it hurts a lot. I wonder if that's the mutt for the summer side, that's why it hurts so bad.

"Aww poor North," Tate says. "Here, I got you." He reaches into his pack and pulls out a first aid kit. He puts some cream and a bandage on the cut.

"Does it feel any better?" Asks Tate. "Yeah a little bit," I say, wiping at my tears. "Thanks, that was really sweet of you," I tell Tate. Tate smiles and blushes. Then I lean in and kiss him. After a while, I pull away.

"Well we should probably get back to fishing," Tate says. I laugh. "Yeah." We each catch a few more fish and then we're packing up our stuff when we hear footsteps behind us. We both spring up and turn around.

Standing not too far away from us are Brooklyn, West, and Marcus. "Well well well. If it isn't the two lovebirds," Marcus says with an annoying grin I want to slap right off his face. My mouth drops open. They were spying on us?!

"What do you want?" Tate asks in a low voice. "We were wondering if you had any food," Brooklyn says. "Well we don't," I reply. "You obviously do we just saw you fishing," spits Marcus. "Well we're not giving you any," says Tate. "Oh he's not giving us any," mocks Brooklyn. "You better give us some or else," Marcus says. "Or else what?" I ask. "Or else," begins Marcus, and then West runs and tackles Tate to the ground.

"Hey!! Get off him!" I scream as Marcus and Brooklyn laugh. "How do you like that?" Marcus asks and his comment makes me so angry that I run over to West and Tate. I chuck West off Tate and then slash across him with a knife. He falls to the ground and his cannon goes off. Brooklyn and Marcus look at me in surprise and shock.

"How do you like that?" I ask. And then I grab Tate's hand and we run out of there together. Marcus and Brooklyn don't follow us. We sprint back to our spot where Cove is pacing back and forth.

"Guys!! I thought one of you died!!" She exclaims. "Well let me explain. So we were fishing, and then I got bit by a turtle. It might have been the mutt for the summer side. Anyways, Tate helped me and then we kissed and-," "WHAT!? THAT'S HUGE!" Cove interrupts me. Both Tate and I blush. "We fished some more, and then when we were going to leave Marcus, Brooklyn, and West were standing right there. West tackled Tate to the ground-," "And then North got West off me and slashed him with her knife. He died. So North saved us," Tate interrupts me. I lean over and kiss him on the cheek.

"Can we eat?" I ask. "Let's have fish and fruit," Tate says. "I'll cook the fish," Tate says. "What fruit does everyone want?" I ask, standing up. "I'll have an orange," Tate says. "I'll have a papaya," Cove says. I reach up and get an orange, papaya, and a mango for myself and then hand them out. Tate cooks the fish and we eat.

Later that night, I'm out on the beach taking watch when Tate comes and sits down beside me. "Hey," he says. "Hi," I say back. We sit in silence for a bit until Tate speaks up. "I really like you North," he says. "I really like you too," I say back. He leans over and kisses me. I'm glad Cove and I let Tate be in our alliance. I really like him.
