~The Games-Day Eight~

Hayden, Dylan, Apple, and I have been travelling the arena for five days. This is our sixth. To be honest, I don't really know why we're still travelling, because the person we were supposed to kill is already dead. We started travelling because we found a girl in the arena, Apple, and she was planted here by the Capitol. Her grandfather is the president, and apparently if she didn't kill someone in the arena he would do something terrible to her and her family. We agreed to help her, although the only reason I agreed is for my friend and ally Hayden.

He was really eager to help Apple, and that's because he likes her. He told Dylan and I last week while Apple was asleep. That's basically the whole reason I'm sticking with Apple. If it was just me I would probably ditch her no offence. I mean she's okay.

Right now we're pretty close to we were started travelling, by the abandoned houses. I'm so tempted to ask if we can stop walking and stay in one of the houses. We're walking along the river, Dylan and I trudging along in the back, Hayden and Apple in the front, fast-paced and excited. That's how we've been walking for the past five days.

"I want to ask if we can stop walking so bad," I whisper to Dylan. He raises his eyebrows at me. "I've been wanting to ask that for the past five days," he says. "I'm going to ask. This is getting so boring," I say. I pick up my pace and and catch up with Apple and Hayden. They're having a nice, friendly conversation which I interrupt.

"Guys, hi. Can we please take a break from travelling? We've travelled the whole arena, can we pick one of the houses and stay there?" I ask. Apple and Hayden both look annoyed, partly because I interrupted them and partly because I asked if we could stop. None of them say anything at first, so I ask again.

"Fine. You and Dylan find us a good house to stay in," Hayden tells me. I roll my eyes. This has been happening a lot recently. Apple and Hayden talk and relax while they tell Dylan and I to do everything. I run back to Dylan.

"They said we could stop but we have to find the house," I tell him. He rolls his eyes like I did. We reach the houses and search until we find a decent one. We show Apple and Hayden. They "approve" and we get our things set up. "I'm hungry, let's eat," says Apple. I check the bags for some food. All I find are some apples. We split them up and eat them.

"They're a little rotten," Hayden says and Apple agrees. I look at Dylan and we both roll our eyes. Well then you can get your own food. After we finish eating we all sit down.

"Am I glad we stopped travelling!" Dylan says, stretching. Both Apple and Hayden glade at him. "What?!" Protests Dylan. "You don't have to be so mean," says Apple. "All I'm doing is saying what I'm glad we're not doing. It's my opinion. Why do you even care?!" He says. "Maybe I care because we're an alliance and we came up with the idea to travel together. So you shouldn't be complaining," Apple snaps back. "I didn't even want to be with you!! So don't say we came up with this idea together when you forced us all into it!" Exclaims Dylan.

Hayden stands up and begins yelling at Dylan. Apple and I shout at them to stop. Dylan and Hayden start fighting and Apple and I get to our feet. I hold back Dylan and she holds back Hayden. "Okay let's sort this out," Apple says. We all sit down.

"Why are you guys upset?" I ask. "I'm upset because we were basically forced to join Apple and travel the arena," says Dylan. "Hayden what about you?" Apple asks. "I'm upset because Dylan's been complaining all week and he's been really annoying," replies Hayden. "Okay so we're done travelling. We're not going to anymore," Apple says. "And the only reason Dylan was complaining is because we were travelling," I say. "So can we stop this from now on?" Asks Apple. "Fine," says Dylan. "I guess so," Hayden agrees. "Okay, good," I say.
