Jill POV

Things were going so slow with Mac, she was ready to speed things alone. He was great to talk to on the phone, and the few times he made it to see her, but she wanted more. So when he invited her to come to visit him at Edwardsville, she was all in. She did not know what to expect, but she planned for everything.

She made sure everything was fresh, clean, and shaved. She wore her cutest, sexiest outfit, with her the best skimpiest, sexiest underwear she could find. Was hard to do since she had no clue what sexy underwear would entice a guy. Something barely there and lacy.

Packing an overnight bag would be a good idea since he never said she was staying the night over or just visiting him for a few hours. Better to be prepared. That included cute pajamas and not her normal t-shirt and sweats. She did not want to look like an inexperienced kid, she wanted to be all grown up.

This could be it.

"Girl, don't jump into bed with that boy, you barely know him," Sherry told her while she got ready to leave early Saturday morning.

"What do you mean? It's been like two months, I know him."

"No, you don't! He's away at a whole other school and you don't see him every day. Boy could be a whole player, you see how Donte did me."

Now her line sister was just being mean. Just because she fell for a creep like Donte, didn't mean every guy on the face of the planet did the same type of thing. She would play along because Sherry went through it with that punk.

"I get what you're saying girl, I do." But if Mac was ready, she was all in.

Once she made it to Edwardsville's campus, she drove around a bit trying to find his dorm. She finally had to call him to know where to go.

"Evergreen Hall on Circle Drive, right near the football stadium," he said.

She hated getting lost in strange places. She had driven around "Circle Drive" literally in a circle around the campus. She probably passed it up twice. The parking lot was in front of the building, so she was distracted by that. Maybe she was too nervous and anxious. By the time she parked and made it to the door of Evergreen Hall, he was in the lobby waiting for her with a big smile.

"There's my girl." He pulled her in for a hug. "How do you get lost on this small campus when ISU campus is twice the size?"

"Not really. It's more spread out here, my school everything is pretty close."

"You need to rest or anything or can I take you to lunch?"

She smiled at him. This was going to be nice. He probably wanted to show her off to all his friends and she was down for that.

"I could always eat."

"You look cute." He kissed her, taking her hand as they walked out of his dorm.

Now she wished he went to ISU with her so she could stroll through the campus hand-in-hand with a hottie like him. Did she really have a boyfriend if he attended a school far away?

It was cold because it was early December in Illinois, so they were both bundled up in coats and gloves, but it was not so cold she thought she would freeze to death. Mac excitedly showed her the football stadium first and told her tales of playing and winning games there. She wished she was even a little into sports, but she nodded her head as if he was telling the greatest stories.

Then they walked toward the main campus and he pointed out buildings he had classes and that too was uninteresting. He had been to her campus many times and she did not feel the need to show him around. College was college and they all pretty much had the same things.

Their Student Union was not that great, but still nice. There were not many people around, but he led her to a little game room, and at least that would be fun.

"I'll order us something to eat, then let me beat you in my favorite game."

She looked at the air hockey table and smiled. She was not going to tell him it was her favorite game and she was an ace at it.

They played three games and she beat him at both. He pretended to be a sore loser, so they stopped to eat their food.

"How long can you stay?"

Hell, she was trying to stay all night and at least have some more excitement than this. He hadn't even taken her to his room. Maybe he had a roommate or something that would kill their vibe.

"I'm good, it's the weekend, I can stay."

"I don't want you driving back super late."

"If it gets too late, I can stay."

He grinned. "Okay."

After they ate, they finally headed back to his residence hall.

"If you're staying the night, did you bring something?"

"You mean protection?"

"What? No! I mean...something to change into."

Oh, she felt dumb. "Ummm...yeah, if it's cool."

She walked to her car and grabbed her bag and then they headed inside.

"You guys have a curfew or something? No girls allowed in at certain times?"

"No, it's a co-ed dorm, girls on our floor, private bathrooms."

"I don't miss dorm life."

They made it to his room, which was suite-style rooms with two-room and a connected living room. He said he has a roommate and two other suitemates, but his roommate went home for the weekend. They had the place semi to themselves. His other suite mates were there and she met them. Not that she would remember their names.

Mac's room was sort of messy, but she did not expect him to be a neat freak. His bed was unmade, shoes lined under his bed, and a pile of clothes on his desk. His roommate's side had a pile of clothes on the bed. At least the room did not stink.

"Sit. You want anything to drink?"

"No, I'm good." She sat on his bed and he sat next to her. "You want me to get undressed?"

"Wait a minute Jill, why are you rushing things?"

"But I thought...I mean, you invited me down, I thought you wanted to."

"I do, but I want us to take our time to get to that point." He leaned over and kissed her. "I'll leave the room while you change into something to sleep in."

That was so nice of him. She changed into her cute negligee she brought with her and sprayed herself with some body spray. She quickly ate a mint and combed her hair so she was cute. Then Mac came into the room and smiled at her.

"Whoa!"

"You like?" She tried posing sexy for him near his bed.

"You're really beautiful."

She could not wait to have sex. Tonight was the night. She pulled him over to her, kissing him and pulling him down on the bed. When she reached to pull up his shirt, he stopped her, pulling away and getting off the bed.

"What are you doing? Jill, I didn't say we were having sex tonight."

"Why do you think I'm dressed this way?"

"I thought that's what you sleep in."

She rolled her eyes and sat up in the bed. What was she doing wrong? Why was this guy not interested in her? She literally jumped on him and he was turning her down.

"So you don't like me Mac? Why are you sending me mixed signals?"

"I like you, Jill, I like you a lot, just...slow down, you're trying to rush this. You've never had sex, shouldn't you wait until you are ready?"

"I am ready! I am here, practically naked, which means I am ready. What more do you want me to do, walk around totally naked."

"Then I'm not ready." He went into his drawer and pulled out a T-shirt. "Put this on over that. I'll sleep in my roommate's bed."

Oh hell no! Something, something was just not right with this guy.
