You're in love with Blaise Zabini. Everyone knows it. It's so painfully obvious.

Well, to everyone but Blaise.

Whether he's willfully ignorant to it or truly doesn't see it, no one knows, but apparently he doesn't see the longing looks you send his way when he's not looking. He doesn't see the way you repeatedly put him before yourself, consciously and subconsciously.

You know that whether or not he loves you back, you'll never stop loving him.

And that may be the worst part of all of it.

"You need to stop staring," Pansy says from beside you, not looking up from her potions homework.

"I'm not staring," you deny.

"Right."

"I'm not!"

"(Y/N), you are a horrible liar."

"I'm a (Y/L/N). All we do is lie."

"Maybe you should brush up on your skills, then, because I can see right through your bullshit." You sigh, knowing she's right. Not that you're bad at lying, but that you were staring.

"I can't help it. He always looks so sad."

"Well, his mother did just kill another one of her husbands."

"What is that? Number seven?"

"Something like that, yeah," Pansy replies, giving up on her homework. She glances over at Blaise. "Go confess your love or something."

"You're bloody insane," you reply.

This is a conversation with Pansy you're familiar with. You understand her frustrations at your lack of action on your feelings, but she doesn't seem to understand that you'd rather pine after Blaise your entire life than lose him because he doesn't return your feelings.

"He loves you, too, you know." You snort.

"Yeah. Right." Pansy slams her potions book shut, effectively pulling your attention from Blaise.

"Okay. I've had enough. Either you tell him you love him tonight, or I'll tell him for you."

"That's not fair!" you protest.
