To say you have a tumultuous relationship with your brother, Tony Stark, is an understatement.

You were only five when your parents died, leaving your aunt and uncle, Maria and Howard Stark, to take you in, much to the dismay of then fifteen-year-old Tony.

Though you were cousins, you were raised as siblings, and you call him your brother, and he calls you his sister. Not only that, but you fought in only a way siblings could.

So when Maria and Howard died in a car accident, Tony was left to become your legal guardian at the young age of twenty-one. He was still a party kid then, and in addition to the inability for Tony to deal with his grief, he had to take care of you.

Logically, you both knew it wasn't your fault, but that didn't stop a growing resentment toward you from Tony and a sense of overwhelming guilt from you.

As soon as your turned eighteen, you moved out, figuring that Tony would be glad to see you gone.

But, to your surprise, he reached out less than a year later, asking if you'd move back in with him. You didn't know why, after you living under his roof for thirteen years, he would want you back. You refused at first, and he let it drop.

For two weeks.

Finally, you relented and moved back in.

You fought occasionally, but ultimately, you got along the best you two had in your entire life. When Tony was abducted by the Ten Rings, you were beside yourself. You thought you'd never see your brother again, and though you were assured by Rhodey that you would, you doubted your brothers' survival instincts.

You were proven wrong when he arrived back home. He had some odd contraption in his chest, which he explained to you was an arc reactor, and was the only thing keeping him alive. You cried in his arms that night, thanking whatever deity was out there that he was home and alive.

When Tony revealed he was Iron Man a day before the press conference, you can't say you were surprised. You recognized the arc reactor in the few pictures that were captured of the man in the suit, though you knew that approaching Tony with what you knew would only prompt him to vehemently deny it.

After he came out as Iron Man, he went on to become one of the most notable superheroes-- constantly throwing himself into danger to save whatever city needs saving that day. You wanted to help, but Tony turned you down again and again. You knew he just wanted to protect you, but if he could throw himself into the fray, why couldn't you?

That's what led you to borrowing one of his suits every now and then and training in them, just in case one day Tony lets you join him.

That came in 2018, when a space Titan named Thanos threatened not only your existence, but the existence of half of the life on earth. You didn't give Tony a choice in the matter, taking up one of his suits and fighting Thanos by his side.
