At first, Bellamy is in denial. He makes the point that you've lived through worse. You survived Grounders, Mount Weather, hell, even the second apocalypse. You couldn't have died from an infection.

It takes awhile for him realize that you're never coming home, that the body he buried was really you. After that, he changed. He's reckless with his life, finding no point in living now that you're not there to keep him going. He's no longer the soft, stubborn man he once was with you. Despite having a support system desperate to help him, he doesn't want help. All he wants is you back in his arms.

Murphy refuses to believe that you were killed while he was on his journey to the City of Light. You had begged him not to go, but he went anyway. The last thing you two did was fight. When he went to Polis to help destroy A.L.I.E, it's there he learns of your death. So, naturally, Murphy does the most Murphy thing he can do.

Murphy bottles everything up. When you were alive, you pushed him to talk about his emotions instead of bottling them up until he explodes. Since you died, he's started reverting back to his old ways. He stuffs his grief, his anger, his guilt down until one day, he snaps.

He destroys the room you two lived in. He breaks things, throws things, completely obliterates the room. He goes to throw your favorite book across the room, but he just can't. He sinks to the the floor, clutching the book to his chest, and cries.
