You yawn as you walk off the elevator with coffee. your coworkers look up and Prentiss looks like she's going to cry at the sight of the coffee you carry.
"You're a saint, (Y/N)," she mumbles as she reaches for the coffee. You smile and hand it to her.
"Well it hardly seems fair that I get my saving grace and you don't." She grins and takes a sip of the heaven sent liquid, sighing in content.
"Do I smell coffee?" Morgan calls from behind you. You turn around and hold his usual order out to him. He takes it and gives you a side hug. "Thanks, mamma. You're the best." You wink and pass out the rest of the coffees. Luckily, Garcia was down flirting with Morgan so you didn't have to walk down to the Batcave.
"Where's Hotch?" you ask the group.
"Office. He's finishing up some paperwork from the last case," Reid informs, pointing toward the door.
"Thanks, Spence," you smile, heading up the stairs towards Aaron's office. You knock on the door.
"Come in," his voice sounds from the other side of the door. You open the door and close it behind you.
"Good morning," you chirp. Aaron looks up and nods to you, a smile twitching at the corner of his lips.
"Good morning, (Y/N). Is that for me?" he asks, nodding to the coffee you're holding.
"Bitter like you," you confirm, handing it to him. This time, you get a full smile.
"Thank you. I need your opinion," he says, suddenly serious. You move closer to him and around to his side to look over the papers strewn across his desk.
"Remind me to organize this for you," you mumble. He chuckles, wrapping his arm around your waist.
"Will do. Do you think this case, the one with the three missing kids or the one with the suspicious suicides?" Aaron asks, not looking up from the papers. You weigh them carefully in your head.
"I think the kids. We don't know that the suicides are foul play for sure, but we know that the kids are missing and that's not a coincidence seeing as how they're from the same town," you reason. He nods and squeezes your hip affectionately.
"I agree. I just wanted you to solidify my choice." He retracts his arm from your waist and moves the papers detailing the case to his briefcase. "Tell the team we leave in thirty minutes, okay?" You nod, smiling softly as he kisses your cheek and leaves the office. You follow suit, turning off the light and closing the door. You look down at your friends and bite back a smile as they try-- and fail-- to act as if they weren't trying to look through the blinds from afar.
"You guys suck at acting innocent. I guess it's good you're on the side that catches the criminals, not the ones who try to act like they didn't kill anyone," you tease. Reid's face turns red and Morgan shoots you a grin.
"Now, now. Are you accusing us of spying?" he asks, putting a hand over his heart in mock offense.
"Yes, yes I am." J.J. looks at you and raises an eyebrow and you raise one in return.
"How's the coffee?" you ask Prentiss.
"Great. Any new cases?" she asks, already packing up like she anticipates the new case.
"Yep. Wheels up in thirty."

As you sit on the jet reading Harry Potter, Aaron sits beside you.
"Should we let everyone know soon?" Aaron whispers to you. You side-eye him and wink.
"Whatever you want, Aaron. Honestly, it'll be easier than sneaking around. They think we're having sex," you mumble so only he can hear. A smile graces his lips and he shakes his head.
"Do you tell them we aren't?" You laugh, ignoring the stares of your coworkers who are not so subtly eyeing both of you.
"I don't respond because I can't lie to them." At this, Aaron laughs out loud, causing Morgan to jump.
"Did Hotch just laugh?" Morgan asks out loud. You grin at him and look back at Aaron.
"That he did," you respond.
"And (Y/N) was the one that caused him to laugh?" You roll your eyes and glance at Aaron. Aaron winks at you and does something you never imagined he'd do in front of anyone other than his son.
He kisses you.
You don't hesitate to kiss back but pull away when you hear gasps and shouts of the team.
"I knew it!" Prentiss exclaims. Morgan grumbles and hands a waiting Rossi around twenty dollars. You shake your head, not the least bit surprised that they placed bets on you two.
"How long?" Garcia asks from the computer. You start, forgetting she was there.
"Around six months, I think?" you respond, posing it as a question. Aaron nods in confirmation, rolling his eyes playfully at your forgetfulness.
"Damn, girl!" Morgan exclaims. Reid sits there, dumbfounded.
"You okay there, Spence?" you ask. Aaron sets his hand smoothly on your upper thigh and you shoot him a warning glance, something everyone else thankfully missed.
"I had no idea you guys were together. I didn't see any signs!" he says, looking between you and Aaron.
"You're clueless, kid," Rossi teases. Reid rolls his eyes but continues to look shocked.
"Anyway, back to the case at hand," Aaron says oh-so-professional. You smile at Hotch and he smiles at you. I love you, he mouths.
