THE LAST minute musical change wasn't what many of them expected, but at this point, everyone had to expect the unexpected.

Shiloh had to now always expect the unexpected. With everything going on in her life, she honestly felt like she couldn't keep up.

She shut her locker and was faced with a blond girl with a high ponytail in her hair.

"Hi, are you the Shiloh Molina?"

"Uh, yeah." She softly smiled, "You?"

"I'm Lily, big fan."

Shiloh hadn't gotten used to the "fans"; none of them have. They had quickly grown in followers on social media and had more and more people coming to the Love Club even during the Christmas break. It was more than what they were used to and they were handling it the best way they could.

"Thanks. We really appreciate the support."

"Of course. I have never seen anything like this before. The Love Club. Very interesting."

"Thank you. I honestly appreciate the support. It means a lot."

"Yeah, no big deal." Lily smiled, "I totally think you should invest though."

Shiloh furrowed her brows as Lily hand her a sheet of paper, "What is this?"

"An application."

"Application?"

"For the Love Club. I think I highly qualify. I could teach something. How to be passionate for the arts."

"I really appreciate your enthusiasm for the club and everything, but I'm satisfied with everyone in the club right now. Besides, the club isn't really like that. Of course, you can be passionate about the arts, but we want to help people with life things, you know? We want to better people's relationships and feelings. Not passions for different hobbies or future careers."

"I totally get it, but I think I-"

"Lily, I'm not saying you're one of those people, but a lot of people have been asking us to join ever since that magazine spread. You seem very sincere and legit especially with this application you made, but I think we're good on members."

Lily held a tight-lip smile, "Of course. Very understandable."

"I'm really sorry, but if you need any help we're right beside the AV room."

"Shiloh, can we talk?"

The two teens turned and saw Principal Gutierrez standing at the other end of the hall.

Shiloh sighed, "I really do appreciate it, Lily. Maybe, by some chance, they'll be an opening. In the meantime, think about why you want to help people. You'll never know what someone may need."

Shiloh handed Lily her application back and made her way towards Principal Gutierrez.

Lily quickly dropped her smile and ripped the application in her hands. Not how she expected the conversation to go, but she should've.
