TWENTY-THREE. the love club (taylor's version)

THE SHOW went as swimmingly as you could imagine. People clapped and cheered, and to everyone, that was enough until they heard word about the Menkies' and if they made it through.

Meanwhile, The Love Club stood out in the halls, waiting for Jenna to come out. The blonde left the bomb shelter. Her hair cascaded down her back, and her boots clicked loud against the ground.

"Hey, ready for Slices?" She asked.

Shiloh smiled, "We know you didn't get to check off "meet Taylor Swift" on your L.A. bucket list."

"It's okay... the cardboard cut out was pretty cool."

"But through a friend-"

"Taylor Swift is here?!"

"No." Madison deadpanned, "We're not famous."

"But we know a famous person who knows other famous people." Ashley smiled.

Shiloh passed her phone to Jenna. An audible gasp quickly escaped her mouth and she pressed play on the video.

No freaking way did the Love Club get a video for Jenna from Taylor Swift? No way they pulled that off? Well, they almost didn't.

As they said, this wasn't an easy task to get done in the short amount of time they had. Through a friend of a friend... through multiple friends, they were able to get the video for Jenna as soon as the show had ended. If all else failed, they had a wonderful card for her with a forged signature.

The smile on Jenna's never left as she pulled her friends into a hug.

"This is literally the best gift ever." She cried, "If I knew I was going to get this, I would've auditioned for musicals and never quit."

The group shared a laugh, and Jenna backed away, "I'm ready for Slices. I'll fix my makeup in Madison's car."

As they made their way towards the exit, Shiloh felt her pockets, not feeling her keys inside.

"Wait, I think I left my keys in the club room." She sighed, "I'll meet you guys at Slices."

Shiloh didn't wait for an answer as she left the group in the hall and went in search of her keys.

She found them quickly and locked the door. She shuffled through her keys and walked past the dressing rooms, and saw Gina sitting alone.

"Hey Gina, need a ride to Slices?" She asked, entering the room.

"No, I think I'm going to head home."

Shiloh came closer and noticed that Gina had been crying. She sat down next to her as Gina wiped away fallen tears.

"What's going on?"

"I just had this big dumb plant for go out with EJ tonight and he just canceled."

Shiloh tilted her head slightly, "I was never with EJ long enough to know how he felt about anything, but you, Gina, literally give him the biggest smile I've ever seen. I don't think he would just cancel on you for no reason."

"You're still doin' it."

"Doing what?"

"Lifting other people up. You did it all night." She chuckled, "You did it all the time."

"What else am I supposed to do?" Shiloh smiled, "Actually auditions for musicals? That's not my thing. I would rather sit and talk to people. That's why I do what I do."

Gina sighed, "Look, I'm really sorry about the whole Valentine's Day chocolates thing."

"I wasn't upset that you thought that. I was upset that you thought you couldn't come to me." She explained, "I was upset with Lily and Ricky had just broken with me. I don't care if Ricky is my best or boyfriend; I want you to know that you can talk to me about anything. I'm not just the Love Club girl, you know?"

"Yeah, you're Shiloh Molina, my friend."

Shiloh smiled and held her pinky out, and Gina laced her finger with hers, "Gina Porter, my friend."

Shiloh sighed and stood from her seat, "If you change your mind about Slices, I'll be out in the parking lot."

Gina watched as the girl headed towards the exit, quickly calling her name before leaving the room.

"You should try out of the musical next time. You've got a nice voice."

"That's not really my scene. I'm only here to support."

"Have you ever heard your voice? You're really talented, Shiloh."

Gina stood from her seat, grabbing her bag from the ground.

"Consider it."

Shiloh threw her arm over Gina's shoulder, "Maybe."
