IT WAS a break, not a breakup. He specifically told Nini that it was a break and not a breakup. Ricky knew that he loved Nini and he just couldn't express it in the moment.
So, what does she do? She goes to this acting camp and comes back with a new boyfriend. Not just any boy either. EJ Caswell.
To say he was shocked would be an understatement. He was confused, hurt, and having plenty of other emotions having through him that he had yet to understand.
