— Catalina Itzel Messi was a mystery to the world. It was a shock to all when the famous FC Barcelona produced not only one amazing talent from Rosario, Argentina but two. At the time it was easy to see how this worked as the female footballer didn't go by her last name but instead just her first and middle name.
— Catalina Itzel on the other hand was this world renown football player who was changing the game for women's soccer. It was known around the football community that she was born and raised in Argentina but then later moved to Barcelona because of family problems. Not that anyone had ever seen the girl with her family but instead just with her aunt as she was her legal guardian. Even if her personal life remained unknown it was easy to look past it as her skills made up for it.
— Not only was this rising talent getting more attention with football but also from modeling company and famous brands. This was imaginable as she had a face and body that was so eye catching that some would compare her to the present day Aphrodite. Catalina although thought it was ridiculous that they called her that let it slide as she earned publicity for it on the more fashionable side of fame. Her clothes was another thing eye catching as it ranged from dangerous business women on a mission to clubbing in Ibiza.
— She had a talent for fashion and would've probably persuaded it if football failed, but luckily she succeeded in both. Starting her own fashion line called Catalina Couture it was made for women apparel which ranged from dresses, suits, skirts...she had it all. Of course there was many other footballers both male and female who had their own fashion line but it all involved athletic wear and quite frankly she wanted to change that. So wanting to be authentic and design all of her pieces her clothing was made exclusively and limited to few. Her taste in fashion wasn't as unique as she thought as it seemed many enjoyed her clothing pieces and would sell out immediately. With a fashion line came fashion shows which were only held three times a year and only exclusive to her fellow fashion designers and friends so no one could buy their way in. She also dabbled in stocks and business investment that were controlled by her and her team only.
— Climbing the ranks of being a social elite brought even more attention to her which in return brought more questions. Her present day life and future was on display for everyone to see but they were more interested in her past. The media wanted to know everything about her childhood, who her parents were, where exactly she lived, and did she have siblings. All the questions remained unanswered until the day after the 2012 Olympics when Argentina Women's Football Team finally won gold.
— The only reason Catalina hid from her last name was because of her big brothers rising popularity. At the young age of 17 her brothers name was known around the world, she knew if they figured out the relation between the two she would always be in his shadow and he would be credited for all her success. So they agreed on hiding her existence until she was ready to expose it. She knew that in the near future she would, but first she wanted to earn her fame not leach to her brother's. Signing a deal with Netflix they worked together to make a documentary on her life and show who she was.
— Thus Catalina Itzel Messi and Catalina Itzel were one in the same. There was of course critics but she didn't care she had proved to herself that she earned it and that's all that mattered.
— So what happens when one day her seemingly perfect life get flipped upside as she has an unexpected photoshoot with her brother's rival. Even more unexpectedly she finds herself falling for him.
