The morning went splendid for both adults as they couldn't help but smile at one another and sneak adoring glances at each other. Of course not wanting to disturb the peace they opted to stay quiet about the kiss and ignore it for the time being. It was inevitable that they had to discuss it, but in the mean time they relished in the sunny skies of Barcelona weather and held hands walking back from their early morning jog which junior had stayed back from as he was sleeping.
When they finally got to Catalina's home they relinquished each others hands not before Cris placed a kiss on top of hers. It was a sweet moments but was ended shortly as he had to go awake his son and Catalina decided to see what they can make for breakfast. While looking through her fridge she also got started on making a morning coffee for both of them and was going to make Junior a chocolate milk, but decided on waiting to see if the boy liked it. She had a big canister of special chocolate that she imported from Italy just for her nephews that seemed addicted to the brown beverage and it didn't help that her older brother was also in favor of the drink.
"Good morning Lina" she heard Junior before she saw his as his feet padded against the ground as he ran to give her a hug, but due to his short stature his arms only wrapped around her legs.
"Morning Junior how did you sleep" ruffling his curly bed head which also matched hers and Cris she couldn't help but smile at this.
"Good. Is that chocolate milk?" the little boys eyes lit up at the container which led her to believe she was in fact correct at assuming he liked it.
"Yes would you like some" already reaching for that cup she looked at the boys who stepped up on the bar stool to watch her.
"Yes please" his manners were always on point which she guessed she would have to credit Cristiano for.
"The coffees already made if you would like some or if you would prefer there's an espresso machine in the pantry and hot water boiled for tea" wanting her guest to feel welcomed she made a bit of everything just in case.
"Coffee's fine" his hand grazed her lower back as he chose to stand next to her but she made not comment as his little boy sat in front of them.
"So I was thinking dulce de leche pancakes for breakfast and then maybe for lunch we can go out" if there was one thing about the Messi siblings is that they loved there dulce de leche. Even with their strict diets the sweet was never cut.
"That sounds great you need any help" his hand stayed rested on her back despite the distance between them.
"Yeah I need you to grab the big container of the dulce de leche from the pantry" it was personally exported from her hometown in Argentina courtesy of her mother who sent it every 3 months.
"You want to help me make the mixture" she asked Junior so he wouldn't be bored as she knew that most little kids liked helping cook or bake.
"Yeah" bouncing off the seat she picked him up and sat him on her counter helping him crack the eggs and mix in flour.
"Now we mix it fast so we make sure we get all the clumps" putting his little hands in her's she moved them together rapidly which earned a giggle from the boy.
"You know you have a mixer in the pantry for this" whispered Cristiano into her ear after bringing out the container.
"I know" she whisper back and earned a smile from him in return. Wrapping one arm around her waist and the other on his sounds shoulder they cooked together happily.

"You know we can't ignore what happened forever" she told him as they watched Junior show them a new trick he learned at his football academy.
