"Don't you think this is too soon" Catalina said over the phone to Cris who suggested her coming as his date to an award show.

"Not really considering we're still together the eye of the public and have never broken up" in any case of argument he liked to use that to his advantage seeing as Lina couldn't argue with it.

"I'll think about it Cris because Carlos and Lewis also invited me to their race this weekend" those two became some of her unlikely friends when she needed them the most and she was entirely thankful for it.

"Of course they did" his sarcastic voice shot back.

It was clear to everyone even Catalina that Cris wasn't the biggest fan of Lewis or Carlos but she didn't care. They were her friends and no one was going to make her do anything to change that. At the beach it was all fake smiles and fake laughs since they were in a public setting but nothing could deny the undermining tension seeping through. So Catalina decided on keeping the two groups far from each other seeing as Cris was putting in the effort to go back to normal and the guys were just being cautious considering he did leave her heartbroken.

"Cristiano if your going to act like that then we can go back to being strangers" just like he used the public against her she used his past actions against him.

It wasn't entirely healthy on either part but that's just the way it was, seeing as they were just trying to go back to normal and not lose one another or in Lina's case lose him or her newfound friends. It was as if both were to prideful to admit their wrongdoings but also to in love with the idea of going back to normal to see it.

"I'm sorry you know I'm working on fixing that" he had admitted to her that he had jealous tendencies but was going to make himself better at ignoring his temper when it came to it.

"I do and I appreciate it but sometimes it just gets too much for me" seeing as she got an earful of complaints from everybody and she means everybody for getting back with Cris, any little thing just seemed to tick her off.

"I'm sorry" Cris whispered through the phone now that Junior woke up from his nap and didn't want him to know they were arguing as the boy was overjoyed with the news that Catalina would be coming over again regularly. At times Cris wondered if the little boy loved Catalina more than him.

"It's okay we just both need to work on our issues" ultimately one's peace was the most important thing in a relationship.

"Yeah... Listen I'll let you get back to practice just let me know on your answer" and with that they said there goodbyes and ended the call.

"So we're not going to the race" Ney asked confused.

"You weren't going either way you have game" luckily her game happened to fall on a Saturday a day before all these important events.

"Lame" Ney replied eager to see all the drama going down this week.

"Shut up loser" packing her bag for the upcoming weekend so she wasn't unprepared she stupidly invited Neymar to help her.

"So where are you going to, Italy or France" either to the award show in Paris or Imola for the race.

"France. I think if Cris is going to put in the effort then I should as well" it take two to have a cohesive relationship.

"Damn it I was hoping for Italy" he internally yelled at himself for not just deciding for her like she asked beforehand.

"Well too late" she already packed her dress to walk the carpet which was too glamorous and showy for the F1 padlock.
