"I won just admit it" she chuckled as they finally sat down after 2 hours of gruesome football.

It seemed even when they weren't "working" their work still followed them. Although to Catalina her work felt more like a fun thing she does to entertain and push herself to be better at everyday. She could get the same idea for Cristiano as they were both naturally competitive people.

"Fine but only cause you cheated on the last goal" it pained him to admit it but technically it wasn't a fair win.

"It's your fault you fell for it" yeah Catalina wasn't lying when she said she was competitive.

When they were on the last play she noticed he was on the verge of scoring again so she did what anyone would naturally do and faked an injury. Holding her ankle "painfully" she limped and cried out and Cris heading her distress voice stopped to immediately help her. Once he was by her side and trying to lift her up she made a dash for the ball where she made the game winning goals

"Well next time I won't help you" he smirked taking his own seat.

"Fine by me" making eye contact they stopped for a while or maybe the world did as they stayed in the exact position for who knows how long just enjoying each other's presence.

"So how are you liking the stadium" Cristiano broke the staring before it could get awkward.

"It's pretty, but it's not Camp Nou" the stadium was gorgeous she couldn't deny but it wasn't home.

"Fancy a transfer" he could see it now. Catalina Messi the once savior of FC Barcelona Femení now their rival. The image looked good in his mind and he wouldn't doubt she would look good in a Madrid kit.

"Never I practically bleed the red and blue" referencing the clubs color she would always wear for however long she could.

"Imagine what the Culers would think. One of their own in enemy territory for fun" the media would go into a frenzy.

"I would be more worried about the transfer rumors and my brothers" a few in particular would be furious for example Javi even in his short stature would drag her back home.

"I'm happy he's not here then" his chuckle was laced with nervousness.

"Speaking of not being here where's little Cris Jr. I didn't see him at your house" she didn't know the kid personally but she couldn't help but notice his absence.

"He's with my mom. I didn't know if him or you would be comfortable around each other's presence being that you have never met one another"

What he was saying wasn't technically all true as they've met eyes before at some football award shows but that's the max. He also couldn't deny his son's growing crush on the women as he seemed to talk about her all the time. So maybe them meeting wouldn't be as nerve racking as he thought. He also couldn't help but think his heart was about to burst out of his chest at the thought of her being concerned about Juniors presence. The simplest thing about her just made his heart go boom.

"Aww well I love kids and would love to meet yours" and she truly was good with kids as she always babysat for the boys when they wanted to go out with their spouses.

"I hope it's soon as long as these visit are recurring" it was a bit of a guilt trip but a little push wouldn't hurt anyone.

"They will be but how about we get to eating because I'm starving" her stomach was starting to grumble and she knew she was going to get hangry if she didn't eat soon.

The rest of the night was spent on cheesy jokes and loud laughter. It seemed when they weren't trying to choke on their food from it they were catching each others bright smile. No one could deny the sparks that flew but of course they remained oblivious.
