The rest of the meeting went tense after the revelation of their relationship status with Leo not helping at all. He would stab his food with the knife while directly looking at Cris who for the most part found it amusing until he became uncomfortable and looked away. Lina tried to to play peacemaker by engaging in small talk and trying to find things the men had in common but it would be ended shortly.
"Thank you for joining us Leo and you as well Antonella" Lina said after they all finished their food and were now heading their separate way.
"Anything for you hermanita although I would've preferred it just being us three as four seems like a crowd" Leo hinted towards Cris who sat next to Lina with a smug smile while resting his arm behind her chair.
"Leo" she heeded warning to his words.
"Fine...thank you for the invite Cristiano" his words took a great force from his as he struggled to make the complete sentence.
"No problem" Cris finally said after the awkward starting contest the occurs between them two.
"Here's the check I hope you enjoy the rest of your day" the waiter bid them a goodbye after letting the piece of paper hit the table.
"I got it" Cristiano said reaching for the check.
"No it's on me" Leo argued back quickly grabbing for the check as well.
"I invited you and as my guest please let me pay" and from then it was a game of tug of war between the two men who wouldn't let their ego be pushed down.
"No allow me to we're celebrating you and my sister after all" getting tired of seeing her brother and boyfriend fight she snatched the check from them both.
"I'll be paying" Catalina demanded as she death glared them both as they opened their mouth to argue. Finally as the breakfast ended they walked towards the exit where Catalina paid while the rest of them waited.
"I'm going to get the valet to bring the cars around" Antonella sensed that the two men wanted privately so she excused herself outside.
"Listen Cristiano while we may be civil for right now don't let this persona fool you. On the pitch and in real life while my sister is not around your my rival. You maybe have her fooled with this nice guy act but not me. So let anything happen to her that makes her cry or hurts her you'll be dealing with me. Public image aside–our career asides, it'll be me coming for you and not as Leo Messi but as her big brother" life was about learning from your mistakes and for Leo he knew Cristiano was a stepping stone for his sister.
"I'm not afraid of you Leo or your little boy band of teammates either for that matter. What Catalina and I have is special and it's here to stay whether you want it to or not. So while I hear your warning it's also not pushing me away so get use to my presence I'm going to be around a lot more then you like" outside Cris was calm but on the inside he was furious who was he to threaten him or accuse to know what him and Catalina had wasn't real.
"Now that, that is settled we can go" Catalina appeared breaking up the stand off once again.
"Ready" she asked Cris sensing the heated hospitality.
"Yeah let's go" locking hands with her he made movement to head pass Leo.
"Don't forget my words Ronaldo I won't repeat them" Leo said before leaving after giving his sister a kiss on the cheek farewell.
"What was that about" Catalina asked once they were both in the car.
"Just a man to man conversation you understand that somethings are better left unsaid"

"You sure you want to do this" asked Cris as they had agreed to make the relationship public.
"Yeah I already called my family so they won't have a heart attack at the news" over the phone wasn't the best way to announce your relationship to your brothers rivals but hey her parents were in Argentina until the end of the month so that bought her time from them.
"I still think we could've of waited a while to tell them or we could've flown out to Argentina and tell them in person" he said completely oblivious to the heart surge he gave the girl.
"You would go to Argentina to meet them" she asked wide eyed.
"I'd do anything for you" kissing her hand he held it tightly as they strolled around Barcelona aware of all the attention that was on them.
"Well maybe you could meet them when their here in Barcelona and we could go on vacation to visit Argentina" it would be a dream come true for her to return to her country with him as her boyfriend.
"Only if we make a stop at Portugal along the way" the smile they both had couldn't be wiped off no matter what.
"Looks at us planning trips to our countries. I can't wait to show you around all my favorite places and take junior to all the best toy stores"her eyes lit up with the talk of her country that made him love her even more as her eyes sparkled with every word.
"And I can't wait to show you my love at least now that we're public I can do this" pulling her in by her waist he planted a big kiss in her lips which she quickly returned in between the giggles that slipped past her lips.
"Cris we're in public" she wasn't the biggest fan of pda even now that they were official she preferred intimate moments for the two.
"Who cares I love you" he continued to kiss her knowing that somewhere someone was probably snapping pictures between the two.
"I love you too" the words slipped out of her mouth with no effort.
"What" his kisses stopped as he was shocked along with her as she became quiet.
"I-I love you" she said trying to words over.
"You love me" he asked just to clarify before he became too happy.
"I love you" she stated with no hesitation this time and a big smile because that's exactly how she felt. Walking around her city enjoying the heat on her skin couldn't have been a more tranquil place of saying it as they discussed there future. Cris obviously happy at the news couldn't help but pick her up and twirled her around in rejoice.
Nothing could ruin this day for them not even the sound of their phone being blown up as they knew the news had already hit.
