Maya POV

"Gibson go block off that intersection, we're gonna need space and I don't face any more cars getting involved here," I instructed.

"We're gonna need the gurney from the Aid Car," I added.

"On it," Montgomery replied, rushing back to get it.

"Dispatch this is 19. We require 3 more Aid Cars to the south corner of Milbrook Road," I radioed through.

I made my way to the passengers in the first car while the others spread out to the other vehicles.
The car was occupied with a man, woman and who I'm presuming was their teenage daughter.

"Hi I'm Captain Maya Bishop from station 19. We're gonna get you out of here . Can you tell me your names?" I asked, attempting to assess how simple it would be to extract them from the car.

"I'm John, that's my wife Maryn. Our daughter Ada is in the back. Is she okay? I can't see," John told me as he tried to turn around.

"Woahh okay John I'm going to need you to stay really still for me. Ada, I'm Maya, can you tell me how old you are ?" I asked, trying to work out how responsive she was.

"16," she struggled to breathe out.

"Is my mom okay? She's not moving," she said, fear and panic evident in her voice.

"Maryn?"

"Maryn, can you hear me?" I asked.

No reply or movement.

"Herrera over here," I shouted, calling Andy straight over.

"We've got a none responsive female and two other stable victims," I explained.

"Montgomery," I called, getting him to come over and assist.

"Mom!" Ada was calling, getting more and more distressed.

"Ada we're gonna get you out. I need you to try and stay calm," I said gently.

The other Aid Cars were arriving.

"We're gonna need a gurney, almost ready for extraction," Montgomery said, using the metal cutters on a front piece of the car.

Andy and I rushed to get it.

"Mom wake up!" I heard Ada call out again

"Mom wake up!" I heard Ada call out again.

John was next to be taken out of the car and was quickly rushed off to be treated. I glanced around the scene to ensure everyone else was getting on fine. It appeared that this car was most damaged.

"Captain she's going to end up having a panic attack," Miller said, pointing at Ada.

Now John had been removed from the car, there was space for me to crawl into the back.
