Maya POV

"Ahh look at Elva covered in cookie dough," I smiled, showing the photo Carina had just sent me to Andy and Vic.

"Yes she's the cutest but Maya put that away," Vic laughed, reaching over and pushing my phone down.

"Hey that's my baby girl," I pouted.

"And we love her but tonight, you're not mommy Maya," Andy laughed.

I raised my eyebrow.

"You're bachelorette Bishop," Vic cheered before downing her drink.

"Another round please," she said to the barman.

"Slow down," I smirked, taking a sip of my own drink.

I ignored them and quickly replied to Carina before finally pocketing my phone for the evening.

"Here," Vic said, handing me a small shot glass.

"To Maya, may the last night out as an unmarried woman be messy and full of laughs," she toasted.

"And," Andy began to add, holding her hand over Vic's drink.

"Congratulations Maya, if anyone deserves this fairytale, it's you," she said genuinely.

I smiled and nodded at her knowingly. Andy knew more than anyone the journey I'd taken to reach this point in my life.

We clinked our glasses before taking the shot.

"Oh vodka I have missed you," Vic laughed.

"We really need to get back out more often," Andy agreed.

The bartender placed a tray of drinks down in front of us.

"We didn't order these," I told him.

"I know, they heard it was a celebration," he said, pointing at a group of guys across the bar.

"It's really okay we..." I began before Vic interrupted.

"What she means is we're very grateful thank you," she winked, taking the drinks and holding her hand in thanks to the guys.

I gave her a telling look.

"What?" She shrugged.

"There's no harm in accepting a drink. It's not like we owe them anything," she smirked.

"True," I agreed, taking one of the drinks.

A few more drinks later and the three of us moved from the bar over to the dance floor. It felt great to let out hair down and have this friend time.

I swung my hair back and laughed at Andy who was confidently showing off her best moves.

"I've not seen you in a while," I heard someone shout over the loud music.
