Maya POV

"Maya where is she?" Carina yelled over all the noise.

I paced on the spot, running my hands through my hair.

"I don't know," I repeated.

I was doing my best to keep my captains head on and remain in control and assess the situation.

There'd been some sort of explosion that had shaken the station and I'd definitely heard at least one structural collapse from somewhere.

"Captain what's the plan?" Miller asked, rushing in, followed by Hughes, Herrera and Warren.

"Is the rest of the team okay?" I asked firmly.

"Sullivan and Montgomery are attempting to calm civilians and assess for any injuries," Hughes replied.

"Where's Gibson?"

"I haven't seen him," Herrera answered.

Before I even had the chance to stress, he ran in all panicked.

"I don't know where Marcus is," He breathed out.

"Where is Elva?" Carina shouted again.

"They'll be together, they'll be fine," Hughes tried to assure them, although I'm not sure she did a great job.

"We need to work out the cause of the explosion, find any structural collapses and any potential ones. We need to find the safest part of the station to direct everyone and if there's nowhere, get them out," I instructed as calmly as possible, despite falling apart inside.

"But the storm," Warren interjected.

"Bad weather or building collapse? Do the math Warren," I snapped.

"Maya," Carina, said forcefully.

"Elva," she cried.

I wiped away her tears.

"I know, we'll find her," I whispered.

"Herrera, you're in charge," I ordered.

"Wait why?" She asked in surprise.

"Because I can't be Captain and a mom right now," I simply replied.

"Yes Captain," she nodded, leading everyone out to start following my plan.

"Bishop, we gotta find them," Gibson said seriously.

"Then let's go," I said, grabbing a torch as the lights were cutting in and out intermittently.

"Maya," Carina sobbed, taking hold of my arm.

"I'll get our girl," I promised her.

"Go find the safe area," I told her.

"No, I need to help. I need to do something," she said, tears free flowing.

"Keep yourself safe," I told her, planting a quick kiss on her lips and following Gibson out.

We were about to go check the beanery when Hughes ran up to us.

"It was the telephone poles. The three outside closest to the station fell, all hitting us. The electric in them is what caused the main explosion," she informed us.

"Where did they fall?" I asked.

"Two outside your office and reception, one into where the trucks are," she explained.

"God where are the kids!!" Gibson shouted.

"They went off playing, but Elva wanted to find you Maya," Vic said.
